Remarks

We have an alumni association in the college and an alumni get together is organised every year. The senior students help the college in organising an interview for the juniors as part of recruitment from the companies that they work for. We have had many companies come over to the college for interviews through the alumni of the college.

Entrance Preview

I took up the MAHCET entrance exam. I opted to study in DY patil institute of management as I had heard a lot about its courses, teaching facilities, extra curricular activities etc.basically i chose this university because some of my cousins have been passed from this institute and got good feedback from them.

Placement Experience

3.5

DY patil institute of management has a separate Placement cell. The teachers in the placement cell will guide and coach us with all the aspects regarding how to attend an interview. We have been coached in such a way that we have the confidence in cracking any interview without fear.

Hostel Facilities

I have not experienced the hostel facilities and the mess food of DY patil institute of management. However, I have had friends who stayed in the college hostel. I have never seen them so i can't say anything regarding the hostel or the mess food. But They have always enjoyed the facilities provided.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

The faculties of institute are very friendly, motivating and very helpful. They are always available for the students in and outside college for any help or clarifications regarding course, subjects, personal queries, future plans, career discussions etc. I have never come across any situation where I couldn't receive a help from any of my teachers.

Very bad experience about this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college provide some extra certificates like Excel or others which not value for money and also taeches foreign language but not single student can speak after the degree. And also not any facilities can speak german language

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Balanced learning and real world relavance

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's well structured but there are areas that could be enhanced to better prepare students for the real world. Curriculum sessions are twice weekly, other faculty are invited to gain information from the industry. Recently, we had our ebek Cambridge exam. It was useful us to learn english for better knowledge gain.

Faculties are very good and supportive always ready to help. it is easy to connect any faculties between 9 am to 7 pm and most of faculty leave in campus. Faculty always encourage the student to take part in extracurricular activities. Medical Facilities is available 24*7. The admin staff is also supportive. The college organises Guest session which is good for students betterment.

Remarks:

The faculties here are very supportive and some of them are always available on campus to help the students and mentor the students to groom them. They always push the students to learn by doing; which is experiential learning. The set up the talks and sessions from industry leaders time to time to keep the students and themselves update about the changes in the corporate world and make them ready to face the challenges.
