Remarks

The eligibility for applying for BBA in ABBS is 40% in the 10th and 12th. The application form is available on the college site, and after filling the same, an application fee of Rs.1000 is to be paid to complete the process. Application dates are normally between the months of June and July for the first years.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course so that it gives me a background for MBA, which I intend to pursue after graduation. Every Department has at least 10 faculties and the total students in each department would come to around 1000 (including 1st Years, 2nd Years and 3rd Years). Term exams are conducted by Bangalore University, and the exams are conducted in the most professional manner by the college. Apart from the language subjects, the questions in the exams are quite direct and mugging up the answers would help to score great marks.

Internships Opportunities

2

Internships with stipends have been given out by companies but it is not as frequent as one would think, internships and research projects are given in the 6th semester of the course. I personally don't know anyone who has gotten an internship through the college.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are quite decent and major companies like McKinsey, Amazon, Byjus, Kotak Mahindra Bank etc. come to the college to pick out the best students for their themselves. Average packages range from 3 LPA to 5 LPA. At least 30% of the students are placed in each course and the rest opt for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the courses offered are quite affordable in my opinion. UG course fees average between 3-5 Lakhs for 3 years. There are no frequent fee hikes, and the fee structure has been the same for quite some time. Scholarships are offered to students at the time of admission, on the basis of their 10th and 12th-grade marks. I got the same and I would say that was a great relief for my parents.

Campus Life

3

An annual fest which goes by the name 'Regalia' is conducted by the college and students take active participation in helping coordinate and conduct the same. There are many clubs like the reading club, marketing club etc. Classrooms are quite spacious and equipped with modern infrastructure. The library is great in terms of the availability of books.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel rooms are worth every penny and are a great place for students coming from other states. The food is not that great, so be prepared to be disappointed. There is non-vegetarian food served in dinners on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The rest of the time it is completely Vegetarian. Registration for the hostel is done along with the first application form. I stayed in the hostel for the 1st year of college and then rented a room next to the college. The hostel is situated 1km away from the college. The hostel fee is Rs. 110000 per year for 3 sharing rooms and Rs. 120000 per year for 2 sharing rooms.

The college guarantees 100% placements and they are good. students are eligible for campus placements from 2nd year The companies are the big 4 or 5 and maybe other reputed companies Highest package has been 20Lakh and the lowest could be 3-4L As such I'm not sure about the percentage but you would be needing 85-90% maybe After getting the degree I would work and also give time to my start up idea

Placement Experience:

Placements do come in college but don't expect any good placements from this college. In our batch sales jobs were promoted more rather than marketing and HR. And also if someone expects good packages as a fresher than you should keep in mind that the industry is really vast so build up proper skills by taking knowledge as a fresher in your 2 years. Don't run behind money
