Remarks

The admission process was easy for me, cause they just need students and they don't think anything about child development. I had given ojee and jee. The application process was only you give them 5000 And you are a student if you just wanted to be one of them.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

I chose CSE, cause I have an interest in technology and in the programming section when I was a child and the interest just grew up with me and never faded. Faculty can be defined by a single word waste. The student ratio is a joke every student except a few is taking distance. Just like students, I think teachers also bought their degrees. A PhD holder teacher was unable to solve fraction addition. Terms exam easy peasy.

Placement Experience

2.5

From 6 semesters the students get eligible for campus placements if they can get them by their own means. I am new here so I doubt hardly any company come here to hire us. 0 is perfect for the college I guess. Maybe some students who have calibration get a 7-8 lakh package. the percentage is still 0. I have planned to do further study in management line, I would prefer to do an MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was made to, take money from us, as general students, we have to submit our fees by ourselves. I don't get any scholarships or any benefits from college or outside. Every other sc, st, obc is getting all benefits from govt. As well as from college.

Campus Life

1

We don't have any fest from last year, we even don't have any Hindu culture god or goddess pujas on our campus. The books we need are available in the library. We don't have any events, extracurricular or sports days. Our campus is a deserted place.

Hostel Facilities

1

In room we get an iron bed with ply on it. And a locker , fans, lights i.e. all. The meal we are eating is worst. They always use worst products to prepare food and use expired good as well. Menu is as usual typical indian types. We just need to ask for a room in hostel and i.e. registration method. I haven't rented any room or pg.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

From 7th sem the students became eligible for campus selection. Companies like Infosys, EVEREADY, ACC , ultratech and many more offering annual packages starting from 2lakhs to 8lakhs. Highest 8lakhs annual packages and average was like 3.5lakh to 4.5 lakh. Approximately 70 to 80 percentage of students are getting placements every year. After getting the degree i want to do a job in electrical companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because at first I was interested to automobile engineering but I didn't got it from other college so I preffered this mechanical engineering. It is a very though course as it seems. And there was 1:7 for faculty and student ratio. Faculties were highly qualified and some did PhD and m. Tech and other are fresher. The teaching skill differ person to person. The thermodynamics faculty was very excellent. In every year there was 2 semester and it is a little difficult. And before semester there was internal and viva.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Padmanava College of engineering is coming under Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT , odisha). As there is always a myth about private colleges that they help in cheating but from my experience padmanava College is strictly against cheating and rather it supports quality of education. If you are a hard working student you will pass the exam very easily.
