Seshadripuram in a nutshell

The course had quotas like CBSE, ICSE, and STATE SCHOOL, the eligibility was to have 60% in PUC. The application form was given in the college itself with 100rs fees. The addmission process was quite easy with options like maths, CA etc.

I choose B.com because of my family background and I also thought B.com would be easy for me to get a job in future. Each subject had 3 faculty so that there won't be any shortage of taking classes, all the faculty were M.com and some were PhD graduates. The term exams were conducted every 3 months and the faculty made it simple by giving important questions.

The campus selection started in the 5th sem( final year) and the eligibility was to have no backlogs in any sem. The companies which visited were CIEL HR, ANTHOLOGY, DELLOITE, STATE STREET CORPORATION, SOCIETY GENERALE, TARGET, ETC. The companies offered a minimum of 175000 PA and the majority of roles were financial assistants. However, only a few students got placed even though many students were completely capable of getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to start my work career and do MBA simultaneously.

The fee for b.com was 53,000 per year, for BBA it was 55,000 per year. however, during covid there were no concessions and families with low-income levels found it very difficult to pay the fees. There were only a few scholarships given, and the fee payment had 2 instalments per year. the campus selection was offering less stipend for example 250000 PA and the highest that was offered was 400000 PA.

The college conducted its annual day, sports day, fests, entrepreneurs day, business day etc the annual day was conducted in August. The library had very limited books for novel readers and no new books were bought. The classroom had good benches which could be better. The college supported sports for both boys and girls in cricket, boxing etc. And also had some off-stage and on-stage events. The college had women empowerment cells, anti-ragging cells, YRC, NSS, NCC, Cultural cells etc.
