Synergy Institute Of Engineering And Technology, Dhenkanal has two admission processes 1st one is through jee/ojee and, College level. I got admission through ojee entrance exam. I think there is no reservations system in college for admission. Everything is fine in College admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

Today's day totally Computerized day and mainly computer Science domain go high level. Most of them are well qualified and they behave really well. Most of them graduated with B.tech (CSE) and other branches. Now very less teachers are available in our college and department also. so one teacher takes 2 classes. According to me, all are well but the college management is not good.

Class Size: 47Course Fees: INR 53000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is carried from one branch to another. It depends upon the strength of that branch. Because I am from the CSE branch I know my fee structure. Because I am a lateral entry student my fee structure is 53,000/year. If anyone wants to pay their fees they can pay in one installment in one time and 4installment in 1 yr. But you have to clear a level of the fee before the semester exam.

Campus Life

Every year sports activities are conducted in the college and the students who will do well perform they got medals and prizes. if you are an athlete there is a big field for football, cricket, basketball ground, and tennis court. If you want to Join NCC then you can join.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Most of people go for PHDs and research after this course so the number of placements is a little less. Also, this unique Integrated Mtech course is new and the first batch of this 5 year course soon will be passed out. They are getting placement offers of 8-8.5 LPA per annum.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, AMAZON, SAMSUNG visited and about 7 to 8 lakh rupees package they are giving. Highest placement is 1.5 crore and the average package is 8 to 9 lakh rupees. About 70 percent students getting placed. I want to job in MICROSOFT.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem the students became eligible for campus selection. Companies like Infosys, EVEREADY, ACC , ultratech and many more offering annual packages starting from 2lakhs to 8lakhs. Highest 8lakhs annual packages and average was like 3.5lakh to 4.5 lakh. Approximately 70 to 80 percentage of students are getting placements every year. After getting the degree i want to do a job in electrical companies.

I choose this course because at first I was interested to automobile engineering but I didn't got it from other college so I preffered this mechanical engineering. It is a very though course as it seems. And there was 1:7 for faculty and student ratio. Faculties were highly qualified and some did PhD and m. Tech and other are fresher. The teaching skill differ person to person. The thermodynamics faculty was very excellent. In every year there was 2 semester and it is a little difficult. And before semester there was internal and viva.
