Remarks

After allocating the seat in the college based on APPGCET rank. Take the necessary documents and go to college. First, go to the admission block and then paid the fee. Then go to their respective departments and collect the application form and fill it out. This is the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose organic chemistry because I love chemistry and the opportunities in it. There are 15 faculty in the chemistry department for 70 students. All of my faculty are qualified and have also done their Ph.Ds. Every month we have term exams and they are based on the syllabus. So it is not extremely difficult to pass. Every we gave seminars on chemistry-related topics. Every day we have 3 hours of lab.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Many pharma companies like Divi's, Hetro, etc., Comes to our college to offer jobs in quality control and quality assurance. Last year my senior got selected for a summer research program to do an internship. We have to do projects in 4 semesters.

Placement Experience

3

Approximately 60 percent of students get placements every year in the pharma industry. I plan to get a good rank in the GATE exam. And then to get a job with a good package. Otherwise, I write CSIR.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is a Government College. So need to pay the fee. Because everyone receives fee reimbursement( RTD & MTF). Recently we applied for a summer research fellowship. For regular candidates -15,000, for self-finance candidates- 35,000. There is also a hostel facility.

Campus Life

3.5

Recently, we have done a national colloquium on Nuclear energy and its applications. There are a lot of books and journals in the central library and departmental library. Every year someone is represented in state and district-level sports competitions from our college. A few days back we receive a seminar on Sonochemistry by Dr. K.Harika, Pondicherry Central University. We have NSS volunteers to do social activities.

Other Applied Colleges

Andhra University | Organic chemistry

Because my rank is high in APPGCET

Course Curriculum Overview:

It covers all core Chemistry subjects with good lab work. I chose this course for strong academics and research scope. The syllabus helps for higher studies and competitive exams like NET, SET. Practicals help in real applications. Exams are held each semester. Difficulty is moderate and most students clear easily,More workshops and industry training can be added for improvement.
