Remarks

The admission process was very smooth. Admission is taken based on MHCET and JEE exam scores. CAP center plays the main role throughout the admission process, Seats reservation is also applicable as per the Caste Category according to the government rules and regulations. College fees and available course details are available on the college portal with all pros and cons.

As for me, I have taken admitted to BE in Computer Engineering, as I have an interest in cloud computing and a little bit of coding. Teachers are highly qualified with great experience and good bonding with students.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 84000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is as per the government norms For OBC 42000 Rs + remaining fees will be given by MahaDBT. Maha DBT Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Category, under which 50% of college fees for all 4 Years will be paid by the Government of Maharashtra.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is pretty good, Infrastructure is not good it's under construction. Libraries have all books as per the requirements. Sports and other groups are better. Classrooms are ok with portable projector facilities.

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.
