Entrance Preview

I gave this college from UPTECH, an state level engineering entrance examination. Here are various engineering courses. For admission u have to give entrance exam. After that a common admission in kanpur.

Internships Opportunities

College internship was good. they do'nt provide any general stipend . Fee was normal at that time. A lot of companies came for campus selection as tata consultancy services.

Placement Experience

Placement was not guaranteed. At my college time some companies visited as ata consultancy services, HCL, ICICI, hdfc and some other companies. Package was fine.

College Events

In this college various event was celebrated . Each year diwali and holi celebration done by students. Teachers also celebrate with us.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In 2005, fee was not so expensive. We can pay fee semester wise. We could also pay monthly installment. So payment option is very good. Fee structure was 50k per sem.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility is available in college. Even obc bank is available in college campus. So no issue for load.

Alumni/Alumna

Connection with allumni and senior students was good. Seniors helped us a lot. They provide books, drafters and also helped in assignment and exam preparations.

Exam Structure

In this college weekly exam happen. we called this unit tests. exam held semester wise. 2 semesters in a year.

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.
