My self Harshali Jain. I passed out this year. I am a student from batch 2017-22. I opted for architecture as it was my passion and I'm really grateful to have been passed out from this college as it is complete in every way be it education, extra activities etc

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as I was interested in designing. The faculty-and-student ratio is minimum 1:40 and maximum 4:40. The faculty is well-qualified and highly knowledgeable. There were 2 total exams every semester and the difficulty level was high.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the entire course is 500000. Which is divided as 100000 per teaf approximately. There are scholarships available such as EBC which helps as per cast category. For open it provides half fees per year.

Campus Life

There are culturally held once every year which is held between Jan to Feb. The library of the college is well equipped and all the necessary books are available for students. Apart from basic facilities, Classrooms are also equipped with projector facilities, lockers and panels for presentation.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel room is equipped with individual beds, cupboards and a study table. There is also an attached washroom and a full-length mirror. The menu in the mess is set on week basis and the quality of food is nice and hygienic.

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

Perfect infrastructure but more experience faculty needed

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.

The campus of the college is good. It has a separate building allotted to architecture, having all amenities. The faculty is also supporting the Admission process is pretty similar to other colleges and it becomes easy with the help of staff.
