Remarks

Applied through NATA and CAP rounds. NATA Cut off 100/200. Needs a prep for a minimum of a year. For the CAP round, 12th marks, and math marks are also considered. The college application procedure is easy and more details can be availed online.

Course Curriculum Overview

My interest in Architecture is the primary intent for choosing the course. The faculty: student ratio is good enough that we get personal attention during important subject lectures. Teachers opt for different teaching methods for a lesson plan.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 95000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees were hiked each year for us, with a minimum of 10000 pa. I wasn't provided with any scholarship or job assistance during my course in academia. Other eligible students could avail of this facility due to reservation.

Campus Life

The library is well-stocked and has all the necessary resources. It has supplemented me thoroughly for my assignments and submissions. The sports facility is also very good and well maintained. The classrooms are equipped with a projector and a monitor.

Our college has a placement cell. College organises campus drive in every june . The placement are down for final graduation students and alumini students for both degree and diploma in architecture and interior design.

Perfect infrastructure but more experience faculty needed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . The curriculum has some good inputs but it doesn't make you industry ready extra efforts should be taken to learn advance softwares extra classes newer research etc discussion on advance technology becomes important in modern age how architecture is changing is not discussed

My college view

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Designing dreams at DYPCET

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.

The campus of the college is good. It has a separate building allotted to architecture, having all amenities. The faculty is also supporting the Admission process is pretty similar to other colleges and it becomes easy with the help of staff.
