Remarks

COLLEGE - MEWAR INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT. I've completed my graduation from MEWAR INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT and let me tell you that this college has uniforms. you can't wear casuals even after completing your graduation. you have to wear a uniform even after your graduation every time you go back to college. Their admission process is kind off easy... visit the college and ask the receptionist for counselling. They will give a brief about the session, fees structure, trips and all. but sadly there is no trip. The minimum mark you need is 50%.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I chose B.com because I want to know more about the market and business. Some teachers are good but most of them are just teachers who are good in their subjects except a few teachers. He always comes to class and never teaches you and he always just tells you to be in a proper uniform and blah.. all the time scolding students and telling them to do this not this... he always starts the lecture with the book topic and suddenly he will talk about late coming, estimates and all those repetitive lectures. The female faculty is quite good. they are polite and manner to talk with a student also they know how to handle all kinds of students without making any scene.

Placement Experience

4

In the middle of the last year, you are eligible for campus placements. Amazon, LeverageEdu, Travis, etc have visited. 5-6 offers they made the highest package was -12 lac/annum and the average was 3-6 lac/annum. 50% of students got the placement. I am planning for Mba and also looking for a job in HR.

Fees and Financial Aid

Till last year the fees were 30,000/yr but from this year it's 31,000/yr. You have to pay fees on yearly basis for b.com. I don't remember any scholarship policy they provided us... YES, let's talk about job placements by the college. they provide you with some startups in the beginning and then they will provide you with an MNCs salary package is fine you can trust them regarding placements but they will pressurize you to sit in every placement drive and once you're selected in the one company... they will pressurise you to join the company and also you can not sit in the next placement drive. the college will not allow you to sit in the drive.

Campus Life

0.5

The annual fest was held in May. they have a library only for law students, you can't sit there if you're not a law student and there is a library for other students but you are not allowed to go there. There are fine big classrooms 50 students can sit at a time. big windows 5-6 fans. last time I went to my college and I found out that I do have a sports room and they have little equipment. there is a big basketball ground cum and a volleyball ground. they have table tennis cricket bats. idk about cricket balls but I saw cricket bats in the sports room. they conduct abhivyakti each year. where you can participate in competitions in sports as well as dancing, singing, poetry... haha don't expect that there is any kind of society or club.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific aspects of curriculum that influence my decision to choose this course is that it is very good and personally I think it is scoring. The curriculum is very well as it prepares me for real world applications for the academic pursuits. There is no areas for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods as they are best. The frequency in timing of exams along with my perspective on their difficult level is moderate moderate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good but only theoretical, it does not prepare you for real world challenges, since bcom is a general course but still acts as foundation of every Commerce students career ladder, the decision for opting it is correct. The frequency of exams are less and their moderate difficult but not very hard .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is more inclined towards a theoretical side and lacks practical exposure. In the present scenario, having practical knowledge is a must if you want to survive in the industry, which my college didn't prepare me for. However, there are various opportunities across the campus. We have AIC inside the campus, which may offer an internship to the students if they reach out to them.
