Remarks

The eligibility of the course is at least 50% in the science stream. First, we have to fill out the Mumbai University form and we have to apply for BSc in SIWS college when SIWS College accepts your application your name will be there on the merit list and then we have to fill the reservation fees which are 100 and then we have to fill the final form of SIWS college and we have to pay the fees which are 20k. According to me, there are benefits for South Indian guys of reservation seats. And I want to give one suggestion if students' name is shortlisted in merit list the. They should mail or send SMS to the student's registered email id / mobile no. Because some students use to live very far from college and they can't come again and again for checking the merit list.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I am from the science field and I want to take a BSc only that's why. And the student ratio is I think 4:6. And the faculties are not good but not bad also. The term exam is slightly tough.

I have no idea about scholarships because I had taken admission through an online process. And we discuss fees structure. The fee are too much for Bsc the fee is 20k but I think it would be 10k something.

If we talk about the annual fest it is too good like it is the biggest fest as compared to Khalsa College, Ruia college, guru Nanak College, etc. And about sports, there is an opportunity for sports because there is Gymkhana in SIWS college. I don't know much about clubs group or websites that use to run by students.

Well worth the journey!

Course Curriculum Overview:

Parricularly the modules which focused on animal science & botany, the curriculum was built to learn from basics to the advance level towards research area of biology which impressed me alot. The focus on animal biology, statistics, cell biology & genetics, ecology & wildlife conservation, Immunology & biotechnology leads a foundation to successfully enter the real-world and apply this knowledge for better cause of humans as well as animals. As the therotical teaching method can differ from on-hand experience on field there is a need to improve the course curriculum around this issue. The learning period was designed perfectly in-course of the prepaption time between each test and it wasn't difficult if we are well prepared.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's average or below average in term of real world experience curriculum there no such thing. Teaching is not bad there are big screen in class to teach from and blackboard. But most students don't know anything about the real world projects and techniques. Syllabus is controlled by mumbai University is too told and does not have any use in real world industries which need to be changed and most important since IT sector is something which advances and changes each year

Looks Good on Paper, Fails in Practice

Course Curriculum Overview:

I\n Chose this course in specific this college.Because first of all , it was afforrable as compared to others institutes.I can say that we weren't getting any experience which can prepare us for the real world experience like we were made to sit in workshops which was not at all connected to our curriculum.And then later on, when we said we don't want to attend it.We were given lame excuses like this will help you. And we will give you certificates for this.And later on , we were given nothing. Course needs a lot of improvement.I guess because they doesn't favor student feedbacks. The exam are typically in june and depends upon ycmou college dosent have any role to it and its not that difficult with basic knowledge you can score well.
