Remarks

My personal admission process was based on my application followed by a personal interview at the University. The eligibility in respect of the law course is as per the norms of BCI. The application can be sent through the University website. Reservation benefits may be available on case to case basis as per my knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum and faculty staff is quite good which is the only positive factor of this University. I chosed the Bachelors of Law (LL.B) due to my core interest in the area of law. The extreme low student strength has been a negative point here but recently in the last couple of years, the faculty student ratio has considerably increased. The faculties are well qualified from premier institutions with a worthy teaching experience and the teaching method is quite satisfactory. Term exams were always on a fixed period depending upon the course. The pattern and difficulty level was quite average as per my experience.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internship opportunities through college has never been of worth for me as I have always done internships with the help of my personal contacts. The internship is although a mandatory part of the course but I have always got internship opportunities on my own basis. However, my internship experience has been really good.

Placement Experience

1

This is far most one of the negative aspect of this University. I would never recommend anyone on the basis of campus placements here since it is absolutely worthless. Campus placements are not at all good as the number and quality of companies visiting the college as far as Law dept. is considered, it is very disappointing. There are no good placement drives conducted my the college. The package offered is extremely low even of offered rarely. The percentage of students getting placed is also low. I personally was also not able to get placed by the University. My plans are to gain some work experience in the legal sector and peruse higher education in law from abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is quite reasonable and affordable but still high on the basis of ROI. The opportunity of scholarships are available on limited categories only but the placement and campus jobs are extremely disappointing.

Campus Life

2.5

The overall life at campus was not worth except the course and faculties. However, lately there has been a massive improvement in the campus life due to increased strength of the students and as a result, the frequency of events and activities have been improved a lot. The social life is just average and nothing great. Considering the library and availability of books and journals, personally I am well satisfied with it as I never faced any problem here. The library is quite good. Sports and extra curricular activities are oftenly conducted well. There are many different social groups and clubs that are managed well by students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as from 10th std I wanted to be like my late grandfather who was a lawyer. More then curriculum, interning in courts would be better from your 1st year. More practical moots and research activities+ educational visits would be more improvising. Exams are moderate on level of difficulty, and exams dates come suddenly... Usually within the 1st in sem> 2 months gap> 2nd in sem and within 20 days finals.

Remarks:

It's good Most people have to sit down and decide whether college is worth wilde for them. Attending college can have many positive and negative effects. A few negative effects are debt, partying, sexual assault, missing family and friends, and stress. Positive effects are he/she gets a degree, makes new friends, becomes more diverse, most likely gets a good job after graduating, and helps he/she to become more independant and grow as an individual. Starting off with the negative effects of attending college. Tuition has skyrocketed over the years leaving college students thousands of dollars in debt right out of highschool, since many people cannot afford to fully pay their schooling off.
