Remarks

The duration between admission and initial fee payment can be reduced as the time of 1 month seems very long from a student's perspective. And it takes much longer for classes to start. Overall duration can be reduced.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had exams every second month and it felt as if life passes between two exam schedules. As a result of this, I had very less time to focus on practical classes. The end sem exams weren't that difficult as we were constantly being tested in internal exams.

Internships Opportunities

Even though the college themselves didn't provide any details regarding companies offering internships. They helped in finding remote internships and gave us some certificates and other stuff asked by the internship provider.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement office was good at communicating our future plans and helped immensely during in-person interviews by conducting mock interviews and conducting special training classes. I would say it is decent.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got placed at Wipro technologies during my 4th year. The training and placement cell was very helpful during the times of interviews and other technical rounds. I personally felt the lack of aptitude training affected me in some interviews.

Campus Life

The social life was good. Our campus has CCTV cameras and security cameras almost every 10 feet and it felt highly secure. The sports infrastructure should be improved. The recreational parks we're a sigh of relief from otherwise tall buildings and packed classrooms. I had no issues with the infrastructure.

Your Concise review and guide to nit trichy

Placement Experience:

The students start sitting for placement from 6th semester i.e the end of third year itself, while many students start getting job offers at the start of 7th semester itself. The placememt percentage here is very good it is around 90% amd the average placement for 2025 placement session is around 15.76 lakh or maybe higher since results are not made available to us ye, the highest offer is around 55lakh+ according to some fourth year students. The number of companies visiting us are many; they include tech giants such as google,microsoft,amazon, sony, samsung, NVIDIA, quolcomm, AMD, Yahoo and highliting companies are Ceat, Volvo, Wolkswagen, LT, Bosch, mcafee and the list goes on and on and on. i plan on getting a job and then going for higher studies in a foreign university.

Students sit for placements from the seventh semester. avg package is 12.56 lakh in mechanical branch placements is overall very good above than 87% . highest was around 62 lakhs but in circuital branch . i want a good hand salary job after that i want to give rest to my parents .

NIT TRICHY- COLLEGE REVIEW

Placement Experience:

The placements are the best part of this college. This college provides a very good placements both on and off campus to its students the placement percentage is also very good for all the branches ofcourse the placement packages are higher for students of CSE AND ECE branches but others also get a very good package. Students get eligible for placements from the 4th year some even get a PPO from the company they do their intership at in the third year. Big and Prominent comapnies visit our college such as Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Tata Steel, Qualcom, NVIDIA and more recently they gave around 900 offers to the students the highest package was aroung 65 lpa and the average package stood at 16 lpa for the college which is very good as compared to other colleges. The student placement percentage is also very good where aroung 85-90 percent of the students gets placed evey year in defferent sectors like software, Data Science, Management and Core sectors of their branch.

My internship experience

In our college, the admission processes are not only done on any entrance exams. It is also based on the merit of HSC. In such a situation, b.tech admission is done on the centralized admission process by cutoff decided by the colleges based on application form filled by the students. Our college provides some reserved seats for direct admission to Btech. These B.Tech admissions are treated as Management Quota admission. The B.Tech admission fees for management Quota are higher than the entrance-based B.Tech admissions. The college has all the necessary infrastructure facilities. Traditional classrooms provide a better learning experience. The departments have 24/7 network facilities and all the infrastructure is well maintained.
