Remarks

The admission process is through a face to face interview. Where one has to fully introduce themselves and answer the various questions asked by the interviewer and on the basis of it one gets selected.

I chose this course because I am very interested in it. The faculty is constructive at times. Provide good notes and curriculum syllabus. All the facilities are PHD holders none of them is below that. Sessionals, assignments and term exams took place accordingly. One can pass the exam if one fulfils the requirements of the facilities in the answer sheet.

Jaro education, pristine care, hike education, Zolo stays, womannovator etc were some of the companies the department provided to the students. Some of them are of HR and some of them are of content writing etc

Placement Experience

5th semester is the time when one gets placements. The highest package 5 laks as per my knowledge there might find some other also. 50% of students get placements who work hard. My plans after this degree are to do a master's but from a different college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is okay. But the kind of study material they provide feels like they are taking more than enough. Our department offers internship and job opportunities to students from time to time.

Campus Life

There are events related to sports, and students go outside the campus to play and represent the university. Students run social groups such as Saakar, Yuva, udaan, shakti, Kairos, literary club, Ek awaaz, dramebaaz.

JGU is delightful place!!

Placement Experience:

Theh even conduct seminars and workshops and tells us the things which we need to add in our arsenal to be fit and ready for placements. Jindal Students of Economics easily score placements worth 5-7 lakhs and nearly all the students who wish for placements gets it too.

OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was influenced because I wanted to study more about how a person makes decisions, form perception and how a person's mind works . The curriculum prepares us for real world as we study about different aspects of psychology. The curriculum can be improved a little by adding a elective course in which we can get a little experience and arranging trips . The exams are not too difficult or too easy , just in perfect depth of the subject.

About Amity

I took admission in galgotia university but my admission cancelled because of my percentage but I am grateful that Amity University haryana . In this college only above 60% marks are required. 60% in physics, chemistry, maths and English overall 60% . There is a admission test for admission but if have given jee mains exam then don't have to give admission test. Admission process is easy and comfortable.
