The libraries have a rich stock of books, updated digital database, online journals, national and international journals with hard copies and soft copies, magazines and national and regional newspapers in Hindi, English and other local languages are available for students. All libraries have adequate number of computer terminals to access the Internet and all the computers are equipped with latest hardware and software.

Entrance Preview

I scored 83 percentile in MAT. I applied in this college by filling and submitting the admission form available on the college's website and paid the application fees at the same time. I have heard a lot about this college and wanted to crack this by any means. I worked hard for preparing for Group discussions round and Interview rounds. I got lucky and an admission offer letter was given to me on the spot of the day of the interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The duration of the course is 2 years, divided in 4 semester. First semester is very basic covering all the basics of management. The 2nd and 3rd semester is based on theoretical and numerical approach, a lot of case studies are solved during this time. Projects are made based on the internship and during the last semester, a lot of practical approach was taken and we were taken on various field and industrial visits so as to help us understand the working of the industry.

Hostel Facilities

4

The students have the option of eating at any of the food outlets in the University. The Student's Mess or the Cafeterias has a lot of interesting array of food & snacks to suit all tastes and cultures. Also, the food is very hygienic and accommodation is very economical. College has tied-up with outside facilities and a lot of security is provided in those areas.

Faculty

3.5

Faculties are the strongest part of this college after course curriculum. The primary reason for me to take an admission in this college was due to these reasons. All are faculty belongs to a lot of reputed college from various parts of the word. Professors are very supportive and helpful. I would like to give special thanks to placement cell for their training sessions, hard work and helping each and every student to be able to secure a job with attractive and good packages.

Remarks:

The college has considerably reduced the percentile criteria for admission that has led to mediocrity. Also the college is losing it's niche by giving non sectoral subjects more importance than the niche related subjects. No student goes unnoticed in the campus and so the individuality of students remains preserved.

Remarks:

The college campus is the best thing about the college. It is not a place to pursue management for those who want to jobs specific to marketing, HR or pure corporate. Although students passing from here also get into these sector but this is not for what IIFM is known for. It is much more beyond that. It believes in serving the society and nature for what it has given us.

Remarks:

The institution despite being an Indian institute has lost its sheen because of ignorance of the Central government. At current times, when the world is facing the serious issue of climate change and various externalities arising out of it, an IIFMite has a huge role to play and this can only happen when this is acknowledged by the center. The institution is goodThe gender just that the ignorance of some people has to lead to its false positioning in the market.

There are only good comments for our college not because I am the student of college but when I joined the college I came to know about how college has different hierarchy levels and how they initiate their work. Later on, we get the best knowledge from our faculties. They taught us very well and prepared us for next level. College alwys engage us in extra curricular activities other than academics like guest session, virtual stock market games, debates , group discussions, sports , cultural fests etc.
