The college admission requires CMAT/MAT/XAT/CAT or KMAT score to be eligible for admission. With the help of that score, you need to apply online on the GIBS website. Your academics, job experience, management exam score and GD/PI score decide whether you are admitted to the college for the MBA.

There are two MBAs here. One by Bharathiyar University which is of a slightly lower grade and the other of Mysore University. However, this institute isn't recognised by AICTE. You better opt for Mysore MBA. The course curriculum of both MBAs follows all the requisite marketing, management and business courses are properly taught here.

Yes, the placement cell of the college helps you to find internships. You can search on your own too. Best to do these things in the term breaks.

The placement​ scene is good here because the college has the advantage of being close to Bangalore. Most students get jobs in Bangalore only. The placement cell trains students properly to handle the interviews. Good brands like Amazon, IBM, Infosys, Berger paints, etc have come to recruit managers here.

The college very regularly organises seminars, workshops and events related to management studies. They are highly interesting as we get the chance to meet industry professionals and we get to participate in discussions concerning the marketing of real products.

Campus life is very active and a bit hectic as the college keeps you busy with academics and extracurricular activities of all types. There are good sports facilities also on the campus for many different​ sports. The college is a good mix of students from different backgrounds. There are international students too, mostly NRIs.

Hostel facility is awesome. You should opt for the villa style hostels if you your budget allows for that. Mind you, the canteen needs improvement. All products available there are not good.

The MBA follows trimester pattern of exams. The exams are very strictly conducted. They check for thorough understanding of the subject. Classroom activities and project work are also given importance in marks.

The faculty is very supportive and they teach well. They have experienced professionals and new graduates in their teaching team. They are highly inclined towards getting students placed through campus placement drive so they groom you accordingly.
