Real information of GOVERNMENT CITY COLLEGE

Based on the 12th class Mark's seats are allotted in respective courses. Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts has the highest cutoff marks for seat allotment. We have applied in DOST which was handled by the TELANGANA education department, which starts applications after the 12th results of the state.

I have chosen this college for the development of my personality, for extra circular activities, NCC, Sports. The teacher student ratio is 1:15. Most of the faculty are gold medalist in there respective subject's and also doctorate. Some of them were state best faculty award winners As it is an Autonomous college. The exam schedule is different from other colleges. It is often conducted every 5 months and conducts internals before 1 month of the Semester and conducts practical's after 3-5 days of the the the the semester. The exam paper sometimes is easy sometimes it is hard. Mostly exams conduct on alternate days.

For different course respective national institutions and government owned entities offers internship for students and also gives stipend Projects to be done by the students in the last semester of their degree, to get their degree certificate.

From the 5th semester of the 3rd year of Degree or 1st semester of Post graduation are eligible for placements. Many tech companies, banks, etc. visited and nearly in every drive, they offer 100-300 jobs. There is no minimum percentage required for placement but have to pass all the exams.

There is no fee hike in the college. It may hike the fee every 5 or 6 years. States government and National merit scholarships are available in the college. I have been selected for nearly 7 jobs in the college.

Campus life is so good that students from different parts of the State, as well as the country, join the college which helps in the interaction between different people. Every year, it is mandatory to offer BONAM to Lal Darwaja Temple before the festival ends, which is pure conduct by students in their final year and with the cooperation of juniors. There is a library situated in the college, which has more than 40000 books Sports and games fest conducted by respective associations and most of the students got selected for nationals. There are different service unions like NCC NSS and student federations etc.

We don't face any type of interviews or group discussions for admissions. In the year 2018 when the Telangana government started DOST for the admission process in the private, government, and autonomous colleges in the state. It is purely based on the 12th marks of the respective boards.
