My college review

I selected this college using Anna university placements counseling. for mechanical engineering minimum cut off is 140+.application forms will be available at college office and they have small pop up offices in main cities. Admission process where really quick and office staff where really helpful. They need to add more staff for admission time for more quick process of joining.

I choose mechanical engineering because it was my dream to be a mechanical engineer and placement opportunities are more in the mechanical engineering field. Staff wise here most of the faculty were finished M.E. and came for teaching only a few staff where finished doctorate degrees. But the teaching method is a bit OK. They give multiple training and revision courses for us to score good marks. Passing in subjects and scoring 70 percent marks are easier only.

They provide internships in aqua pump and gtn engineering company. But they didn't provide any stipend. Project wise they give AutoCAD designing project and one automatic can crushing machine project.

From the 7th semester, placements were started and students were eligibile for placement. companies like an aqua pump, aqua sub, gtn engineering, and TCS and some small companies came. The average package they provide is 200000 lakh per annum and the maximum is 300000 lakh per annum. 50 percentage students got placement. I got placed at the aqua pump with a 3 lakh package so joined and started working there.

They charged 62500 as tuition fees and for campus training courses they charge additional 10 thousand And they said its compulsory. And that course was a bit helpful only. From the college side, no major companies came for placement, and companies like aqua pumps, and small industries only came. They provide 30 days internship but they didn't provide any salary. I got placed in the aqua pump as a quality controller.

Every year annual day celebration will happen, apart from that freshers day party, technical symposiums and technical workshops also happen. We celebrate engineer's day, teachers day celebration also. The library was not so much big it was average size and available with adequate quantities of articles. The classroom comes with centralized AC. and comfortable seating tables and visual learning, projectors are there.extracurricular wise they give cricket training and basketball training and we have a team also.
