Remarks

Just do focus on making the candidates industry and future ready than to focus on academics and marks where there should be a good combination between the industry, systems and book learning and to create a springboard where the potential can be showcased and given wings to. The current scenario is good but we need global standards and i understands it happens gradually.

Entrance Preview

The eligibility criteria for admission was MHCET or the CMAT and i dont remember how much i scored but yes i opted for this college as it was still a budding one and showed a lot of promise with its research and inclination towards building entrepreneurs and being dependent on your own thus having an eye on having an all round development

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is set by the Mumbai University which i think has remained the same since quite a long time now but the institute was prompt in identifying the core areas where one needs to be future ready to take on the business world and have a competitive edge. The inclusion of Business Analytics was one such major step towards making future business ready entrepreneurs. Thus it was a good culmination of the curriculum plus the efforts taken by the institute in providing the best courses

Internships Opportunities

The internship provision is present but it really depends on the potential of the student and his/her willingness to learn and get involved in the world of business and build the key acumen

Placement Experience

3

Job opportunities are ample for the right candidate who wants to struggle and make it big in the corporate world and be the pioneers in the world of entrepreneurship with innovative ideas and thought process that are further nourished, polished and nurtured into feasible business plans

College Events

3.5

There was a cultural and a relaxing event called Glimpses and Literati fest that involved executives from the industry to mentor and guide and also showcase their experience over seminars. Pitch days were typically for grooming potential business ideas and also helped in identifying the potential ideas to meet the VC or PE or angel funders

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was more or less feasible but frankly a bit expensive compared to the others but i guess that is also a key differentiator when it comes to the extra curricular and amenities that each institute provides for the future of the students which enables them to learn and showcase their exemplary performance and give a springboard to their dreams and aspirations

Fees and Financial Aid

I have availed of loan but it was through another source but yes the college does provide some options although i may not how they function in terms of their rate of return or their repayment period. But otherwise also if you approach any bank they should be more than willing to offer this piece of loan when they know that the returns here are rosier than the other avenues

Campus Life

4.5

campus life was good as you tend to chose the people with whom you want to develop with or with the ones you see a spark, personally it was a good experience but there has be a balance between the good and the better so that also plays a minuscule role. Courses and the study material along with the candidate profile was very diverse ofcourse one cannot just compare with the western standards but yet is it quite diverse. We used to have the sports and cultural days where we felt that there was a good balance between work and play. Labs were well equipped especially the analytics studios with the latest R2 softwares. Internal as well external competitions were conducted on various activities thus making it an al round 360 degree development opportunity for the candidate. Debates and pitches were a common phenomenon and so were the case study discussion and the paper presentations

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Well i wasn't really taking this facility so do not know much about it but having heard from colleagues and friends who say that the stay and the amenities were to the mark but the food could have been improved. I am not sure about the pricing of the hostel but the other facilities and the food was decently prices i guess and did not hear much complains about the pricing

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors and the alumnus is really helpful and easy and chilled out to work with and at the same time a wonderful learning experience for the ones willing to expand their horizons and willing to explore. There is a professional aura around and the hand holding done by the seniors is actually commendable.

Exam Structure

The assessments were hectic but it was pivotal to go through the same so as to be able to perform better under challenging circumstances thus getting the best out of the individual and showing how they are different from the ordinary lot and i guess somewhere thats where the differentiator is in a good candidate and an outstanding candidate who is willing to put in the extra effort

Admission

Clearing the eligibility criteria through with the admission cut offs post which there was a group discussion round and after that was the personal interview round where we are asked questions from a panel of interviewers as to why do you chose MMS and whats the major areas of interest to pursue this kind of a career and where do you think you will be post this course.

Faculty

4

The faculty was highly proactive and was willing to walk the extra mile for the interested students as they found pride in nurturing the needy ones so as to build a promising career. Keenness in building a good foundation was their major areas where they helped and worked with students tirelessly and thus came the results when many of the students participated at National level paper presentation and presentations and proved their mettle.

The placement opportunity is great, but you have to maintain a good grade with zero backlogs. The campus placement cell offers multiple opportunities, but mostly students from the Engineering department got the highest LPA rather than other specialisations.
