Remarks

We were selected on JEE score and we have to fill REAP form. So, based on our score, we get colleges and BTU was my first preference and I got that. Admissions are fairly simple as we got a mail and we're given a week's time to enroll at the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

A total number of faculties in Mechanical is around 30. All IIT passed out and their teaching acumen was so good that this far I have had a great time learning through them. They are thorough with the syllabus and exams are held every six months.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements start from the final year and companies like Adani Group, Cairn India, and Ongc have been college partners for a long. For mechanical departments, the placements are great as the students are less and so the competition is less too.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since it's a government college the fees are quite low. The fees haven't been hiked for a while as it has remained constant from the time I joined. Scholarships are awarded to physically disabled and merit holder students.

Campus Life

Every year we have a tech fest and the annual fest Resonanza is also held every year. Abhivyakti tech fest was introduced this year and we were given a fair chance to showcase our skills in that. I just loved the events here as no other college in Bikaner has fests of such magnitude.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are good and even the food quality is good. Single and double sharing rooms are available but fees varies. Hostels has to be applied during the admissions and before every semester break we have to reregister as those who don't do that lose their chance of continuing the hostels.

Hostel Fee: INR 52000 per year

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement opportunities in on campus placement. The companies like vedanta,Infosys,TCS ,ATA Steel,etc.visited my college. The highest placement in my branch in previous year is about 12.5 LPA,and the average package in my branch is 6.5 LPA .approx 70-80 percent students are placed in my branch in on campus placement.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

The college is strict about it's attendance. You need to maintain 75% attendance. And taking about the studies there is a very studios environment in the college and the labs. The Students here not just focus on academics they also do some good extra activities.
