Entrance Preview

I appeared for entrance test and secured decent marks but I didn't get any good college so i decided to take admission in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) is a Bachelor's degree to develop and train the students to develop their soft skills and enhance their knowledge in Information and Technology. BCA graduate can work for any IT company as a software engineer, software developer, system analyst, programmer, etc. The duration of the course is three years which consist of six semesters.

Placement Experience

Placement Cell is well equipped with excellent infrastructure to support each and every stage of the placement processes. Job fairs organized bring together deserving students and their prospective employers face-to-face. The placement cell understands its role and responsibility here. Some of the big name who turns up with job offers is Honda, Yamaha, Pizza Hut, Samsung etc.

Campus Life

Internet facility is made available to students laptops via WIFI throughout the campus including hostel also which helps students to be connected to various technologies. College offer separate hostels for girls and boys. Each of our hostel is administered under the supervisions of hostel warden. Colleges has many societies like sports club, media club and academic club etc... to give opportunity to the students .

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

1. After 6 semesters the students become eligible for there college placements 2.The companies that visited my college are google microsoft and various other large tech companies and the largest offer made to our students were 1 crore ctc 3. The highest package was 1 crore ctc in our college and average package is that of 15 lpa in our college 4.There are 50-60% of students that get placements from our college 5.My plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement offer if not then getting into an multinational firm

BCA in itself is not a very good course that will gurantee your placement in a good company with high package, Its relevance is high only beacuse its easy to complete and get the degree. For good packages you have to do MCA or work harder on your skill to get a good job. BCA helps in building base of your coding career, it offers a good grasp of C/CPP, Java and DataStructure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i was interested in computers and didn't wanted to do arts, and i was underqualified for other streams. Every class has about 45 students, the number vary but not much. The faculty and teachers are helpful. There maybe some slacking by both sides here and there but its alright. The teaching mathod varies. If you know what youre doing the exams are not that hard to pass.

Excellent collage in chandigarh

Every year number of companies visit college to give student jobs. Well known companies visit in college like Google Amazon Tata Nike etc. In the last semester we are eligible for campus placement. The highest package was given by Amazon to one of the student of our college Was 2 crore per annum. The average package of our college was 20 lakh per annum.
