Entrance Preview
I applied though my score in common entrance test conducted by the Lotus Business School with a good score, I took admission in MBA stream in Marketing in 2014. Almost 65% of the seats are reserved for state students and remaining 35% go apply through CAT score. And I have been surprised by the college in a good way.
Course Curriculum Overview
The theoretical and practical approach to all the subjects is given preference. The teachers focus on the practical knowledge and not in the conventional methods. If interested, you can join the research clubs in the college. If the project initiated by you deserves a chance, the college helps you by providing all the necessary materials required to complete it.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college does provide internship to all students as well as the every dept. The stipend depends on the role given by the university and on the sincerity of the individuals.
Placement Experience
The college participates in inviting the companies for job fairs in the college campus and it helps the students to interact with the company individuals and groom their personality and secure a job. Almost all the big companies like Infosys, Google, L&T etc have been on campus and most of the students were placed with decent packages. I too was placed in Hitech International with an initial package of 3L/annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, If a student secures more than 80% in class 12th boards, he will be allotted a scholarship of 30000 per sem. Above 90%- 40000 per semester. Bank loans are easily available by showing proper university documents.
Exam Structure
We had 2 major exams in the college. Mid-terms and End terms. Apart from this, we had 4 assessments to be carried out at regular intervals of time. If by chance someone fails an exam, he/she will be given a chance to reappear and if the attempt fails, he/she will have to study that study the subject again for an entire semester.
Faculty
The interactive approach of the teachers helps in learning the topics in a much more interesting manner. The teachers too played an important role in that with their learning. I being an Alumni really miss the college as it helped me a lot to groom my personality.
