Remarks

It is one of the premier institutions of Jaipur. College is good in terms of conducting activities. Various cultural fests are also conducted like Kasturi. The admission process is fairly easy. You can get admission if you've anything above 70 percent in your 12th board. During my time the admission was based on 12th marks but now admission policy has changed and students are admitted through entrance exams. Placement opportunities can be improved.

Since I had Commerce during my 11th and 12th I opted for b.com from this college. The teachers are helpful and easy to go with. The curriculum is designed as per the norms of Rajasthan University. The batch size is pretty big. Exams are conducted by RU for every college and paper is prepared at a pretty good level.

Placement Experience

The colleges try to bring companies to the campus for placements but as far as my experience the salary packages affected are low ranging from 2.5-3.0 Lakh per annum. The job profile offered is mostly for sales.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college is affordable. It ranges from 10,000-to 15,000 per annum. Generally, there is no hike in the fees. Scholarships are provided. Talking about job opportunities the college tries to get companies to the campus but the packages provided are very low.

Campus Life

The college has a big library and can be accessed by all. There are huge sports activities and the college is very active in sports competitions and participation. The students are encouraged to participate in competitions as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of bcom course, in which i am enrolled is not much relevant, I have learnt literally the basic of accountancy in my 1sem, something that was taught to me in class 11 itself. And yes, The curriculum does not prepare us for real world problems or projects. Curriculum is very old and irrelevant that a student can't even find a job i market after graduating from our college. Exams are held on irregular timing every year, many times they get postponed for no reason. The difficulty level of exam is not much, Exams are easy to pass. You just have to fill the copies, rest work will ne done by the examiner, whether the answer is genuine or not ????

i choose b.com because curriculum was relevent to my aspect, the curriculum is preparing me for my future studies is good but it is quite outdated in terms of todays world, so i would suggest 1 improvement to it, add new chapters and remove old boring chapters from curriculum. there and 6 to 8 months of gap between each semesters and they are quite tricky.
