Eligibility of the course is 10 and 12 passes with a minimum of 60 per cent. Application form, fees and dates are available online on the college website or can also come down directly to the college and take the application form. The admission process was well satisfied and was happy with the selection criteria.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I am very passionate and have a great interest in cooking and want to further acquire more knowledge in the culinary department is the reason why I choose this course and industry. All the faculties of the college are skilled, qualified and have great knowledge of the subject matter. they always helped us and guided us when we wanted help. the student ratio was 40: 1. we had class tests after sessions and at end of each sem -the sem exams were conducted. For me personally, it was easy to pass and score good marks because whatever was thought during the sessions and where I kept making notes on what was been taught in class and those notes and lectures were asked for the exams.
Internships Opportunities
FIve-star hotels came for placement drive and our role as trainees was to obey our superiors and complete the task assigned. Viva exam was conducted after the training, report submitted to the college
Placement Experience
The campus placements start right from the year 3 . sem 5. TAJ, THE LEELA, OBEROI, MARRIOTT GROUP and retails such as PUMA, TOMMY HILFGER etc. also QSR such as KFC, TACO BELL too have come for placement drive. The highest package offered was 25000-30000. 95 percentage. As I have already got a job through college once after the college ends, will further proceed to work.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college course fee is 600000 for 3 years it is actually worth paying it because after that we receive certified certificates along with great exposure and a learning platform. internship done was in JW MARRIOTT BANGALORE -1500 p/m job will be joing in next month in SHERATON WHITEFEILD
Campus Life
3 years specialisation students have their FOOD FEAST in DEC-FEB. All 3 years' books are distributed to the students and we can collect them from the librarian. Amenities in a classroom - Projectors, AC, WIFI, well structural chairs and tables and another lab for food and beverage we have a restaurant themed like a classroom, and also 2 kitchens with all ingredients and equipment. we do have sports club which is led by a faculty and also has club head or student counsil who handles it . TEA TOUR,BEVERAGE TOUR,CULINARY TOUR AND STATE BANQUET(Fine dining dinner) were some events taken place in college. there are differnet pages of students on facebook and instagram run by students.
Interview Experience
I had just the personal interview round which was been taken by the HOD of a particular department, but before that, we were supposed to give an aptitude test for 50 marks and then after evaluating that the further rounds were held. I referred to the previous year's question papers and also contacted seniors on the same.
