Entrance Preview

AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination). 247/300. This College was nearby my native place and it was a good college.

Placement Experience

Placement cell was there, but it was not functioning properly in 2004.

College Events

College day was celebrated every year. During college day festival there were so many sports competition and Cultural Competition.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I got a free seat through Anna university counseling. So I paid around 15000 Rs per year as fee.

Admission

I attended AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination) after my 12th Standard. Then I went to Anna university for Counseling. During counseling I checked all the possibilities and I found Jayamatha Engineering College was nearby my native place and it was a good college. So I chose this college and selected Electronics and Communications Engineering branch. Then I paid an advance amount in Anna University and I went to college to pay the remaining fees 13000 Rs for Admission.

Placement Experience:

From 5th senester students are eleigible for the placements. So your 5th semester cgpa is very important. This college provide placements from companies like zoho, accenture, tcs , hexaware, mitsogo and more. The highest package is 12Lakhs and lowest package us 3lakhs.60 percentage of students are getting placed each year. Its fully depend on your skills. My plan is to place in campus placements for a web developer role.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the Engineering colleges have the same curriculam. The thing we had was C and C++ and for CSE they used to study C C++ and JAVA. but overall pattern are same as other colleges. Timing of the exam was June one sem and other sem was on Nov-Dec. In between there are internals.
