Remarks

The admission process is quite simple.Anyone who scores good marks in AP EAMCET can be eligible to get a seat and can choose courses they wanted to study in "SRI VENKATESWARA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING". We can find the application form on google and the application fee ranges from 500-1200rs and it varies based upon caste. If someone has a reservation they should submit their caste certificate to the college during the admission process. The admission process is good no need for any improvements in that process.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I thought it would be a good backup for my career so I choose the mechanical engineering course at SVUCE. The faculty is very good and 3:69 is the faculty: student ratio. The faculty is very efficient and they have done Ph.D. in their respective subjects. The teaching quality is nice. Term exams will be held every six months (twice) in a year, the exams will be easy to pass if we prepare well.

Placement Experience

4.5

After the 6th or 7th-semester, students will be eligible for campus placements. Companies like Flipkart, Amazon, ZOHO, and some core related companies visited the college during campus placements. Many offers were made in the campus placements. The highest package is 12 lakhs and the lowest is 5 lakhs per annum is being offered in the campus placements. 83% of students get campus placements every year. I Wanna do Mtech at IIT Kharagpur after getting my bachelor's degree from SVUCE.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is better than that of private institutions. The fee of course decreases towards the final year of the engineering. The overall fee would be 2lakhs approximately for 4 years. Scholarship opportunities for quite good and scholarships will not be provided to the students whose parents have a government jobs. Campus jobs or Campus placements are good and MNCs like Amazon, Flipkart, Infosys, etc... and recently mechanical engineering students got placement in the railway sector. Scholarships like Jagan anna vasathi dheevena and many scholarships are being provided to the students. These scholarships will be provided to eligible students only. At present, I'm studying 2nd-year mechanical engineering. The college placements will be in the final year of the college.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is good. Rhapsody is the annual fest and it will be conducted for 3 days M explore is the tech fest for mechanical engineering course in SVUCE and they will be conducted between December to February months. SVU COLLEGE library provides a large variety of books and those books will be helpful for everyone who is preparing for various exams like Group1, Gate, ESE, and many competitive examinations the college contains separate blocks for every branch, and also various journals will be present in the library. Amenities in the classroom are good includes an inverter, projector, blackboard, good benches, AC would be there in some classrooms, and touch screen boards are recently installed in every classroom. Sports and extracurricular activities are awesome on the campus, every year sports will be conducted on the campus to encourage the talent in students. SVUCE page is being run by students on Instagram.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facility is not bad. Cots, chairs and tables, and fans will be provided in the hostel rooms. The bed is not provided in the room. Ventilation is good. The meals provided in the hostel are excellent. Menu various from day to day in the week chicken will be included in the food 3 days a week. The registration process will be done by filling out the application form in the hostel office but the hostel fee should be paid online. The hostel is quite affordable. I didn't take room outside the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum played a big role in my decision to choose this course. What attracted me most was: The balance between core subjects and electives, which allowed flexibility. Inclusion of emerging technologies like Data Science, AI, and Cloud Computing in later semesters. Availability of practical labs and mini-projects that complement theoretical learning.
