PDUMC Rajkot Review

Admission happened through NEET Examination. The admission process includes State Quota and All India Quota Seats, there are 170 SQ seats and 30 AIQ seats. I got admission through State Quota. The General cut off for SQ seats was 585

The course curriculum includes the standard medical curriculum. There are around 6 to 7 regular faculties in each subject. All of the professors are highly qualified. I chose this college because of the clinical exposure and its distance from my home.

The college provides many internship opportunities, I am in MBBS 1st year, but the Inters and Resident Doctors in our College avail many internship benefits, and the clinical exposure is massive as it is the largest government hospital in Rajkot

The annual fee of the MBBS course is 25,000. The hostel fees are 1200 with 1000 rupees as a deposit. The government scholarships available for general category students are MYSY, Food Bill and some other specific category scholarships are also available.

The annual fest is named Euphoria and is going to take place in May 2022. The college library is full of books, and they are easily accessible to all students, classrooms consist of projectors and standard study tables. Many on-campus sports tournaments occur like PDUPL (Cricket), Badminton Blast, etc

The hostel for 1st-year students is not good based on what other colleges offer. Meals are to be self-availed, the hostel room consists of 4 beds (4 sharing rooms), and basic sanitary amenities. The hostel is provided by the college itself.
