Remarks

I got this college with my Eamcet rank 16000. And during my counselling, I opted for this branch and after seat allotment, I submitted all my documents to the college. The application can be found in the college itself. With ST reservation I got this seat. Improvements that should be done in the admission process are the documents verification process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like mechanical engineering. I am interested in mechanics and engines. So I choose this course. There are nearly 65 students in each class. And there are no other sections. For each branch, nearly 15 faculty members will be there. They help us in studying and choosing the best decisions for our future. Exams are the most difficult part of JNTU because of their correction. That should be changed and improved.

Internships Opportunities

We need to do internships/mini projects in our 3rd year 2nd semester. It is mandatory to do anyone of them. It is our choice to do anyone of them. I have done internship in locoshed where I learnt the locomotive vehicle manufacturing. But I have not gone through any internships which they offered for stipends. We can also choose internships for which they give a stipend but it is very rare.

Placement Experience

For all the branches, the companies choose final year students for recruitment. Many companies will come for campus placements. They are TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE, MINDTREE and core companies like Medha electronics limited etc come for recruitment. The highest package till now is 11pa and the average package is 3.5lpa. I want to work for govt sector core companies after getting my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is not very high. It is about 15000 per year. And it will be reimbursed by the government scholarships. So there is no problem with the fees. And this year it is hiked to 20000 recently. I got a job in software companies by placements but I have no interest to join. We will also get Scholarships every year i.e., up to 12500, and it is directly sent to hostel fees.

Campus Life

Annual fest, tech fest and sports meet are all conducted every year in the month of March to April. It will be the best day of the entire academic year because we will enjoy it a lot. We have a central library where we get all the required books and journals. They are helpful in doing our final year major project. On social media, there are several groups for jntuh ucej which are run by students and post all information.

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

Open book review of JNTUHCEJ

There are several reasons that I chose this college over other colleges. Very first thing is that it is a government college and gave NBA and NACC accreditation. Which makes our certificate valuable and helps us to stand out of crowd. The second reason is infrastructure. Even though it is a government college The infrastructure here is too good. Third reason is fee structure here in this college fee Structure is very less which makes education affordable even for the people having poor economical background. Next is the library here before joing here I visited this college and that the i saw the library. It seemed for me like a holy place of knowledge. Our library has a huge books collection. And it also contains the good authors books collections ,research papers,project documentations daily news papers available in 2 different languages and lso vocabulary development books, books that gives us wisdom, competitive exam books and all.
