The eligibility of this course is that students have to be passed the 10th or 12th to get admission to this course. The application form is available on the website name sarkariresult.com and the fee for this form is 300 rupees only. The admission process is very easy, students have to follow just some simple steps to get admission so there is no improvement required in the admission process.

I had chosen this course because I want to be a Mechanical Engineer. The ratio of faculty and student is good. The teachers and every staff members are highly qualified in their respective fields. And their teaching methods are amazing. Exams are taken after every 6 months and it is compulsory to pass the exam to promote in the next semester.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 24000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of this course is very affordable for every student. It is only 24000 rupees per year. And the best thing is that students get scholarships at the end of the year which is around 50 to 60 % of the total fee. Through this scholarship, students get financial assistance to complete their courses. At the end of the course, many companies come for placement & jobs with good salary packages.

Campus Life

This college organises Fests generally in the month of December which continues to January. In my college, there is also a big library in which a maximum number of books are kept. The classroom of this college is not well maintained. Some sports are also organised in this college in which many students can take participate. There is no social groups, clubs or website run by the college but there is an official website of the college which is run by the college itself named polytechnic.ac.in.

Our study is important but the most important thing is the placement, which makes your career better. Our college has campus placement and many companies visit and hire our students. In many branches, not all the students get the placement but the students who are toppers and who are good in their study get the placement. I also dream to get a placement so that I can get a job quickly after my diploma. For that, I am really working hard and improving my skills, knowledge, and my scores. Tata Motors, Layam Group, Myntra, Bajaj, and other companies come to our college for the placement. In the final year of our course, this opportunity comes to us and we are very much awaited for that.

Best engineering college for BTech and polytechnic. Architecture department are also in our college. Labs, laboratories, libraries. Buses with camera. Girl hostels.

Placement Experience:

In the last semester, our senior get a job in many respected companies. About 70 to 80% of students placed in every year. About 40 students placed in Mechanical in core companies in this. Covid time by virtual placement drive. And minimum package for diploma student is 2.5 LPA to 5lpa.

Remarks:

Positives Beautiful Campus : This might seem irrelevant to some, but the natural beauty is what comes to your rescue when you feel you have hit rock-bottom. Single Rooms : People have different opinions about this, but I have come to respect this particular facility at our campus. Location of campus (away from city) : This is a very subjective issue, but I think that the location of campus (distance from city) leaves us lesser distractions. Negatives :- Weak Alumni Base : Although it is definitely possible to achieve any goal in life without assistance from alumni, but their experience can definitely make the journey simpler for many. However, lately, many alumni of IIT Guwahati are connecting back with the student community and I am grateful to them for taking out their time for interacting with us. Single Rooms : Yes, I covered this in positives as well, but I think I must point out the cons of this facility. Students, especially in the first year, might feel lonely and find it hard to interact with others. A shared room provides you with one or more readily accessible friends whose privacy you can breach without asking, from day one. Mess : However the Mess System is undergoing a lot of changes, this is one aspect that has a lot of scope for improvement.
