Remarks

The admission process was pretty smooth. I applied through TNEA counseling. The admission process took me about a week. You have to apply through the main office, once you've applied they'll contact you within a week or two based on your marks. Once that's over you can finalize your admission on the day that they call you.

Course Curriculum Overview

The exams were placed at regular intervals of time. None of the exams were placed too early nor too late. The difficulty of exams were moderate for most subjects. The conductions of exams were up to scale and disciplined.

Internships Opportunities

During my second year of study, I came across atleast 4 or 5 internship opportunities attend. The most formidable of them was extempermedia which had a stipend of 5000 rs per month while interning there.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't have any scholarships myself. However, the college provided multiple scholarships for various people and made sure they did their best to financially assist many students to a good extent. Internships were also provided as opportunities to earn and pay your fees.

Campus Life

The college had a considerable amount of clubs including niche ones like horseriding clubs, women's coding clubs, etc. Apart from these co-curricular clubs are also available such as football, badminton, and so on.

Life and Difficulties at SRM University from honest POV

Placement Experience:

the placements start from third year. there are multiple oncampus companies that visited like juspay,zs associates, cognizant,accenture,capegemini and etc. the average package is aroung 5,00,000 the percentage of student is around 60-70 around this year but its still going on by this march.

The placements for me started from end of 3rd year itself. The highest package was around 8 LPA from Mr. Cooper with additional 2L bonus if you stayed for 2 years. Avg. package was 4 LPA. 10-15 good and decent companies visited here.
