Remarks

It was fun, knowledgeable, educative and good time spend on our youngster life there. Teachers were good and knowledgeable, interactive, problem solving and surely friendly. But any one needs to know how to behave and manage themselves in a college environment as its your experience in the outside world.

Entrance Preview

SSLC score -82% closer to the house and was a part of Jain college so thought it will b a good experience here.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I had maths and statistics combination of subject. I opted for commerce. Teachers were good and well versed with the subject. Some made it more knowledgeable and interesting and other made it more interactive with a bundle of general knowledge flowing across.

Internships Opportunities

There was no campus interview for my batch. I left it after my 2nd PUC(12th standard). There after I continued my bachelor's degree on a correspondence basis.

Placement Experience

2

As said above I moved out after my 2nd PUC. But I heard my friends talking about campus interview at the college. Not much sure about the companies but I remember there were good oppurtunities.

College Events

2

We had few events like other colleges do. Fresher's day Talents day Inter college debate competition Inter college sports competition Sports event for college students Mehandi competition other quiz competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was much feasible compared to other colleges. It was 10000 pa I guess. It was not at all a burden. Monthly comes upto somewhere around 1500. Even at that time it was very much feasible amount to pay.

Fees and Financial Aid

Never heard about it. I have never availed it nor heard any one in the class speaking about it. May be they had scholarship.

Campus Life

3

It was a good experience of being in a college life a youngster life. We had more of male population than girls in the college, say 90:10 resp for boys and girls. We also had a workshop compulsory for all students, 'Kapoor's work shop on effective communication' which was very interesting and effective too. There were no issues or concerns as such about gender, race, religion etc etc. We had few sessions exclusively for girls on female issues. No much concern about politics and economic status.

Hostel Facilities

3

We did not have hostel facility from the college. Also, nothing sort of mess food. Students from outstation arranged themselves for their stay and food.

Alumni/Alumna

We certainly had few ragging and interacting sessions initially with our seniors. But they were very good never had any negative act as far as ragging is concerned, it was all fun and interacting. Apart from that also seniors took active interest and concern in educating us about any queries or concerns on any matters about the college, canteen service, teachers and college events and activities.

Exam Structure

Exams structure was relaxed. I was under yearly scheme. I had half yearly exams in September, monthly tests and yearly final exam.

Faculty

3.5

Teachers were good and well versed with the subject. Some made it more knowledgeable and interesting and other made it more interactive with a bundle of general knowledge flowing across.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell in my college is okay they do get few good companies for campus recruitment and they guide us thoroughly how and when we should apply for placement they do conduct some sessions and bring people to guide us with everything. The percentage of students getting placement is 50 or 60 percentage. My plan after degree is to continue pursuing acca and then finding a job abroad

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
