Remarks
The eligibility for taking admission to Geetanjali college for MBA was 55% or more than a bachelor's degree. I had done my b.com and then I pursued a full-time MBA here at Geetanjali college. The application form one can find is on the fees counter or reception counter. The staff of the college is very co-operative. Reservation benefits are also given to the reserved category students. The in-house facility is very good as the college provides well-equipped labs and books by renowned authors. The student's play area is also provided and the parking area is very spacious. The only problem is with less staff for assistance so sometimes it is difficult to get the desired things done.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose MBA because it was my dream to do an MBA. The faculties here are soo good and supportive but every coin has two sides like that here also some of the faculties were lacking in English speaking. The teaching method is up to the mark but the only barrier is the English language sometimes. Qualification of faculty is as per the government norms. The exams were conducted at proper intervals. The arrangement was up to the mark and the supervisor was outsourced so as to avoid any type of glitch in the exams.
Internships Opportunities
My internship was up to the mark in Divya Bhaskar newspaper Rajkot. The timely training provided me with knowledge of the market and handling the people of different sets of minds. I was given the task of handling the files of the employees who are on roll and off roll in the Divya Bhaskar newspaper sector. I was taught properly about gratuity, provident fund, customer maintenance, clients survey, conducting research, etc. The stipend was not provided. The projects we as a team of 2 did was customer satisfaction and employee job satisfaction. The outcome of it was up to the mark as employees of print media never shifted to any other sector but only print media. The internship last for 4 months as the company liked our work and gave us more experience and tasks which resulted in empowering us to stand in market with high motivation to face the world.
Placement Experience
From sem 3 MBA students are eligible to get placements. The students can practice in internships about actual market conditions. The companies that visit the college: are Kotak Mahindra Bank, Tata consultancy services, bajaj finance, red carpet, sherkhaan, Motilal Oswal, endeavor educational institution, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is very nominal here as compared to other colleges. The books and other material are provided by the college itself and it is included in the fees. The cost to study MBA is 32k -2years = 64k is the MBA course fees and other expenses including the Stationary cost for projects so in total MBA costs you the sum of 70,000. I got an internship in a very good company that is Divya Bhaskar newspaper Rajkot as an HR intern. Even I got a scholarship from the college so securing 1st rank in MBA sem 4.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is full of fun. The Geetanjali college offers an annual fest and business fest. At the annual fest, the students showcase their talents like Dancing, singing, playing instruments, reciting poetry, giving speeches, etc. The library is well maintained with books of various renowned authors.
