Remarks
It is a private college so getting admission into it is very easy, after you apply for this college / show interest for this college, you'll get a call from managing team and then an interview will be scheduled, probably a professor will take your interview and ask highly simple questions and you just need to be confident enough to answer and that's it. Your admission is done ?, after interview you'll be selected offcourse, and then the admission procedure will come to an end after you complete your payments.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because of 2 simple reasons: First, I had a keen interest in language learning, literature, and dramas / plays. Second, I wanted to pursue my career in English only and I wish to become a professor in this subject itself so, yeah. Faculties for this course is extremely good and experienced, I must admit I never thought such wonderful professors will be teaching us, one among them is a bold speaker and he had attended dozens of seminars held across all over the world, another has a vast knowledge in Language and Linguistics, and one professor's grammar is just mind blowing ???? but honestly there's a professor who sucks (not to mention that)???? Excluding him all facilities are amazing and I really appreciate there teaching process, they give plenty material and examples to make students understand a particular topic. Almost all faculties have Dr. before there names (offcourse they have studied PhD). Terms exams are tough but if you study thoroughly you'll score good.
Internships Opportunities
I'll be soon joining my internship, I haven't done paid internship yet but I'll do it in the future and I'll have to complete more and more internships as only last year is left for me in this college so yeah.
Placement Experience
There's no placement for this course. We don't get placements. After getting my degree I'll pursue MA in ENGLISH HONOURS and then I'll do B.Ed, after completing it I'll do PhD and I'll become a professor.
Fees and Financial Aid
I believe fees for this course are quite affordable as in just 2 lakhs you'll get your degree. There's scholarship opportunities too but I never got one as I was not eligible, but the one who is a good scorer can easily get scholarship. There's no job with stipend for this course atleast.
Campus Life
'Orion' is our annual fest, usually conducted in January or February. There's everything available in the library, all the books a literature student needs are available. Classroom is super cool. There's so many extracurricular activities held in campus, sometimes you'll get confused where to participate. ???? There's a lot of groups and website run by students, firstly the club in which I work as a secretary, Literary Club it has it's own insta, Twitter handle run by my mates, similarly there are several groups like this.
Hostel Facilities
Our hostel is very good specially girls one but our management is wrost. There was a time when we were invited to college post covid without any hostel rooms and we freaked out. Though everything is very nice and beautiful. Registration process is again very simple and easy, just complete your payments you'll get your room according to your preference. To be honest, I haven't tasted the hostel food ever, so I don't know about it clearly but yeah it's pretty good and you get paneer everything as we have our own cows, so milk products are given everyday and not to forget that it's a pure vegetarian hostel so no chicken, egg or fishes are neither allowed in campus nor cooked in campus. If you are caught eating inside University then only God can save you.
Other Applied Colleges
Amity University | Bachelor of Arts (B.A. English Honours)
I didn't choose this college because I wanted to explore more and wanted to visit a different city.
