Remarks

Application in the college is through NEET counselling. There is NEET counselling fees which is 10k. Reservation is for OBC, SC, ST categories, PWD,EWS and Some state specific categories like VJ-NT etc. There concessions in fees for reserved categories admitted through state qouta. It is somewhat time taking if you get admission through state qouta cause there is too much crowd ok that day.

I didn't get any scholarship because there are less scholarships for the students who get admission through all india qouta and there is already recession of fees in Government Medical Colleges for Studies.

There are many social groups and clubs run by the students. Most important there is an NGO which provides free NEET coaching to the poor students called lift For Upliftment( LFU). There is a research society called Jignyasa. Music Club, Dance Club etc are also there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The current curriculum is comprehensive based curriculum. Here practical knowledge is more important than bookish knowledge. So now spending more time in wards is of greater importance. Exams are held accordingly - 2 internals, 1 prilims and 1 University held by MUHS. Each exam is followed by practical examination. This curriculum will help to build good doctors rather than bookish doctors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a very secure option to get a job later You get to open your own hospital later on. The curriculum is very practically oriented. you get hands on experience on patients and cadavers. Appropriate skills are taught as well through college programmes. Teaching is by presentation mode which gets quite boring for long hours but it's bearable when combined with afternoon practicals. Exams take place every 6months 2 term exams, 1 prelims , 1 University level exam
