Entrance Preview

I took AIPMT test i.e Medical colleges Entrance test reason for choosing B-pharma was that i had interest in medicines.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It was tough course. Had to spend lot of nights studying whole night. Lab, facilities were good but i liked laboratory studies quite interesting. Even the lab proffesors were quite guiding and intelligent. They used to demonstrate and explain very neatly. They were intelligent and quite experienced proffesors.

Internships Opportunities

We have normally 18 months internship. I did in a pharma company in Amritsar. It is around 20 years back the stipend was around 3000/ per month which was an OK amount -20 years ago.

Placement Experience

3

Placement opportunities were not much in our times. At that time there were not so much pharma companies. We had to search job ourselves only.

College Events

4

As in every college, we too has Cultural events, Industrial Trips, Inter college competitions. Annual day events were also held every year. In industrial tours we used to gain a lot of practical experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees was quite nominal in our times. Donot know much about current structure in those times, it was around 10000 to 12000/- tution fee per year.Hostel & mess fee was separate as I stayed in hostel.

Fees and Financial Aid

No , there were no schoalrships offered by our college nether there was any kind of loan facility. Only loan some students availed were by their State like J and K.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is always the golden period of one"s life journey we were afraid the first year as we were freshers. Second year onwards, we had fun , parties etc.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I stayed in Hostel for 2 years, then shifted to a flat nearby. Hostel was just ok, not so good. Mess wasnot upto mark as we were always served South Indian food it was tough to manage.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the college seniors used to be quite helpful. We could ask our doubts from them. The problem we faced were there was discrimination state wise. South indian seniors used to help south indian juniors only.

Exam Structure

In that time, we had annual exams , not semesters like today there were fully equipped laboratories.

Faculty

4.5

College had good faculty & knowledgeable Professors. Principal of the college was transferred to our college from a very well known college in Mumbai. It was a wonderful experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

They are not giving time for studies at all for sessional exams in college .like me so many averages student's are there who are not able to study fastly 2 days before they will inform exam will be starting and 6 months syllabus they try to finish in 4 month's and they don't having faculties for most of subjects but still will take exams fast for that backlog ratio of students are so high for that they will charge money to rewrite the exams thats why they don't give internal marks students and student will get backlog and he will write the exam again.
