It was awesome.

Everything except some are good in the college. The college staffs are forcing students to respect them. Some programs are conducted very well while some are canceled due to lack of planning. The college does not have a transportation facility. There is not even one college bus. Apart from these all are good. Especially we don't have to wait much for our results to be published.

I took pondicherry university entrance exam. I got 347 rank. I thought that it is a quite and calm place. Moreover the university offers better education.

Geology is a very rare course. It is a field with lots of opportunities. A person can gain so much after studies. There is a gateway opening in various fields such as mining, mineralogy, paleontology, disaster management and so on. Major electives are paleontology, mineralogy, crystallography, remote sensing, mapping etc.

Yes my college provide internship. The general stipend given is 12000 per month. The professors help interns very much. They are very helpful.

There is no placement cell for geology related jobs. Other placements for army, navy, air force and other some job opportunities are available. Lately karur vysya bank offered some job for students. Around 70 students got placement. But most of the students get settled in outside companies.

There are so many variety functions conducted by college management. An yearly conducted college day for our own college students. And an inter college festival conducted for all arts colleges in Tamil Nadu. This is one of the main events in Tiruchirappalli.

Fees is very much affordable. There are two types of fees structures. One is management and other is merit. Merit fees is very low and everyone can afford it. It is less than just 1500 Rupees for one semester. For management the fees is just about 6000 Rupees for each semester.

They were very helpful and took care of all formalities. He took a loan of 1.5 lakhs for fees and hostel fees for three years. The college management make it fast so that he can pass out the loan as fast as possible.

Debates are conducted very rarely. There are no political parties in the college campus. Most of the students are from poor family. They are very friendly. There are no clashes between students or teachers. No one cares for gender, religion or economical status in the college. The principal maintains equality among students. All teachers are asked to do so. Some motivational classes are conducted for each batch yearly.

Hostel building is a very huge one. Both UG and PG accommodation are in the same building. A room is shared by 2-3 students. A study circle is introduced for students to study. Warden checks the attendance regularly. If anything happens they will report to their parents instantly. The food is made in the mess Hall. There will be veg and non veg foods. They keeps a good quality. The average hostel fees for a student is 12000 annually.

The college maintains contacts with alumni students. They gather yearly in the college auditorium. They help us to give some guidance and job opportunities available. They provide certain scholarships for poor students who studies well. The senior students are also very helpful. Ragging is strictly prohibited in the college campus. They help us in studies and also give the notes of previous year.

Exams are just cool. There is plenty of time to study and plan for exams. There will be atleast 1 day gap for each exam. It won't be hectic. Labs are hygiene and filled with modern equipments. There is weekly 4 hours of lab work to be done by a student. The professor and lab assistant will assist you in your works.

The faculties are very educated. Everyone of them holds a doctorate in various researches. Each of them are specified in different subjects. They have experience of several years. The department is very old and is established in 1919. The principal and controler of examination are also geologists.
