Remarks
In my point of view If you can afford good fee you should never even think of this college.The college is only for local students or the students those do not have a good score and wants a college with no donation and students having strong will power that they will not mix up with the local students can go for the admission.
Entrance Preview
The college allows you to get admission without any scores in any field.I was not scored very good in IIT and AIEEE so I decided not to waste a year for re-exam and I searched for a college which takes no donation and I was curious for visiting a new place. So I didn't care much how the college is and took admission with no donation.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is not very good. Exam patterns are not so good. It is hard to learn something new in such a course pattern. I felt later that the course was not as good as other colleges but I was very late. They use very old methods of teaching. Labs are also not equipped. So in my point of view the college is not good course structure.
Internships Opportunities
No, Our college don't provide internship in BE field. May be they provide for other courses. As the college has a large variety of courses it is hard to know about all the fields and courses.
Placement Experience
Placement is about 40%. but they write greater than 80% in prospectus.Some are placed in good companies by referrals but most of the companies asks for technical support or voice/ non-voice process. They offer not more than 15k. Some of the companies are Wipro, HCL, Dominos etc.
College Events
Technical management is quite better in respect of other branches of our college. They provide good facility for the festivals like technical or cultural. Most of the time these festivals occurs twice a semester but sometime it reduces to single. Management part is done by the senior students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure of the college is quite low than other colleges. It is approximately 60k per year. In my case it was 56k for first year and then was reduced by 2k for the remaining years. It varies branch vise. IT students are asked for 60k where as ECE students have a discount of 2k.
Fees and Financial Aid
Bank of Baroda provides loan facility for the college. Other banks which also provide loan facility are Punjab National Bank, Union Bank and Allahabad Bank. but Bank of Baroda should be preferred.
Campus Life
Campus life is normal with gender ratio of about 1:3. but the location is little backward so most of the students are not allowed to attend cultural fests. I never seen any workshop held in our college. People of the region don't allow girls to study out station. So they have only one option of SRITS college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility of the college is superb. They provide single room for 2 students with attached washrooms with all the other facilities. Rooms are well decorated, and 24*7 electricity supply (Generators in case of emergency). Hostel provides self mesh.
Alumni/Alumna
I mostly was null with seniors but other students were good in that. In my case Language was the problem. I hate the local language of that region so I used to keep my self away from seniors and local students.
Faculty
Most of the faculty are M.tech passed. They are interested to teach at the starting of a semester but student do not show much interest towards study and then teacher also looses their interest. Due to which most of the syllabus remains unfinished. Some faculty are not interested to teach because they know the behavior of students.
