Kapil Kumar's Review On National Institute Of Pharmaceutical Education And Research - [NIPER], Mohali

To be summarise, my college is fantastic in higher education, which provide the overall development for student this experience i cannot forget throughout my life.

GPAT and NIPER, I scored All india rank 135 in GPAT and 185 in NIPER its a top college in pharmaceutical sciences in INDIA i completed post graduation and PhD from NIPER Interview process for PhD was written exam followed by interview process by a panel of subject experts.

Course curriculum is one year credit course. Total 6 subjects are there which are specialised subject in field after that there was a presentation in every 6 month name of subjects was, Logics in organic synthesis: in this subject, i got detailed knowledge about the synthetic routes, fundamentals of reaction mechanism, Drug design: In this subject we got exposure about pharmacokinetic modeling and molecular modeling. We learn knowledge about different softwares, Total synthesis of natural product: in this subject we learn synthesis of natural product in economical ways, Biomolecules: in this subject we learn about carbohydrate, protein and amino acids.

That was nice general stipent during JRF was 18000 and SRF was 20000 stipend was given by DST (Department of science and technology) for 3.0 years project was selective androgen receptor modulators.

There was about 90% placements placement was in good pharmaceutical companies like cipla, glenmark, ranbaxy, Dr. reddys etc. Minimum package starts from 3.0 lakh to 10.0 lakh all students are placed at good positions some students open their own company also job profile was varries from research scientist, Research and development area, Intellectual propriety right, regulatory affairs, business analyst, market research, globulisation etc.

There was lot of events was celebrated, Freshers party: this was the huge function in which all college students paricipate with enthusiasm. Mr. and Miss fresher was selected and awarded, Ganpati festival: worship of god ganesh was done, Saraaswati Pooja, Farewelll party: Mr. and miss farewell was selected and awarded.

Fee structure is nominal there was 17000 per semester including hostel rent expenses was not too much except food expences apart from that there is a student canteen where price is reduced according to students need.

Good scholarship are awarded for topper of college in every stream students whose fellowship stuch because of some reasons, college give fellowship on loan basis for these students.

Campus life was unforgottable there was sports weeh where there was competition in different games like cricket, badminton, football, vollyball, chess and other extra currricular activities like dance, debate, poster presentation etc.

Hostel facilities are superb rooms are spacias, airy and clean there is washing machine in hostel for washing the clothes and thetre is facilities for irony mess is spacias and food quality and varieties are appreciable there is availability of north indi

There is very strong alumni network we have a site of alumni and database about seniors it helps for current students for getting job opportunity and guidance about their life. When i was searching job i contacted with seniors and got god opprtunity.

Exams were slighty hectic because a detailed knowledge about subject lab were interesting because of good facility and infrastructure all the necessary instruments are available in laboratories and laboratory technical staff is very helpful.

Faculty was top class faculty from the world most of the faculty was expert in subject the qualification of faculty is post doctoral in their subject they completed post doc from top universities of united state they have good collaboration with industrie
