Though the college is one of the best in education, extra curricular activities are less it is upto the students to choose.

School of Indian Legal Thought (SILT) is the Department of M.G. University for Law. University conducts entrance examinations for admission both subjective and objective questions are asked for examination.

The curriculum covers the entire law papers relevant for the students who wishes to practice or to do research. Entire curriculum consists of around 40 law papers and 16 management papers. Last semester students are required to do internship anywhere in India.

Nope students have to find by their own means only in the final semester the students are required to conduct internships.

There are no campus recruitment though students from this college shine in interviews since it is a University Department, the lack of students limits the companies to conduct campus recruitment majority of the student do prefer to enter in to practice which also limit the participation of students in campus recruitment.

SILT doesn't encourage much college activities, but it is upto the students to initiate programs and activities the only activities held by the College are National Moot and National Seminar. Students are permitted to conduct activities with the permission of the faculty.

Since it is a University Department, the fee structure is much nominal and feasible the college fee for a semester is around Rs.10000 thus the student only have to pay an nominal amount of Rs.100000 for the entire course which is compared to law schools is much cheap and feasible.

Its upto the students to research and find scholarships the college management don't offer any scholarships or loan facility.

The college conducts entrance examination for selection around 70% students in the campus are female there are no discrimination on the basis of gender, caste, race or creed college support college politics and elections are conducted for the selection of college union members.

There are no hostel facilities provided by the college students are required to find hostel facilities by their own means paying guest facilities are available post Graduate students are provided with hostel facilities in University Campus private hostels can be found within its vicinity.

There are no recognized alumni network in the college. Senior students are available and helpful ragging and other practices are prohibited in the campus.

Exam structure is simple with a 6 paper per semester pattern one presentation and submission are only required for each paper mark structureExternal : 60% Internal : 40% This ensures the students to enjoy much freedom and time. Attendance, Presentation, Internal exams and submission constitutes the internal mark.

Faculty is good and helpful in facilitating students in their education almost entire permanent faculty hold a doctorate in law faculty are helpful and caring though the entire faculty don't entertain extra curricular activities, anything in related to studies receives a huge support.
