Course Curriculum Overview

I was fascinated by space and flying things from my childhood, And I just followed my passion to come here. The faculty student ratio is pretty good. There are a good number of faculties. Most of them hold a PhD and have work experience even in ISRO and DRDO. The will be two unit tests and a model Exam apart from semester exams. Last semester more exams were conducted as the exams got extended due to pandemic.

Class Size: 38Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Information about internships is provided from the department,but ultimately its our will to find an intership for us. If somebody is willing he/she will get a number of intership and project opportunities. Personally, I have good experience with projects with our department. We came with a small concept but they help us to get a patent for it. All the expenteture for patent was taken by college.

Placement Experience

The Eligibility of students for placement interviews is generally decoded by companies. Generally zero balck logs by sixth semester is preferred by companies.But companies like Zoho doesn't care about arrears, you just have to clear there test.But getting into Core companies with arrears is very about 97%of students got placed in last years and got an average pack of 4-7 lakhs per annum. Some prefer to go with placements and others choose higher studies.personally, I prefer to go for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is comparatively fair, in comparison to other private colleges which offers this course. Scholarships are provided based on 12th marks and students who clear TNEA exams have a lot of fee concessions for those who come in Sports Quota.

Campus Life

Inter college and Inter departmental events are conducted. Almost all books and journals are available in the library. An online library is also available apart from physical books. Sports and extracurricular activities are often supported. Students are taken for international competitions too, Especially from the Department of Aeronautical and Aerospace. As most of the drone making competitions are conducted abroad.

Life and Difficulties at SRM University from honest POV

Placement Experience:

the placements start from third year. there are multiple oncampus companies that visited like juspay,zs associates, cognizant,accenture,capegemini and etc. the average package is aroung 5,00,000 the percentage of student is around 60-70 around this year but its still going on by this march.

The placements for me started from end of 3rd year itself. The highest package was around 8 LPA from Mr. Cooper with additional 2L bonus if you stayed for 2 years. Avg. package was 4 LPA. 10-15 good and decent companies visited here.
