I took the CAT and successfully qualified the text. I was motivated to take B.Com due to my interest in the enterprise world and my passion working in the commerce industry.

I did my internship in JK Bank for a period of 6 months and had a very nice experience working in the banking sector. In our college a total of 15 companies among which 5 were multinational companies, visited in the last year of our course and a total of 34 students were selected for internship.

Talking about the placement front, the college has a dedicated placement cell and each year a score of students get placed in various companies like HDFC, HCL, IBM, etc. During my course a total of 15 companies visited the campus for placement and about 20 students were placed, 5 of them in HDFC and Reliance Mutual.

The college celebrates the College Annual Day, Business & Commerce Fest in the months of June and July and organises seminars and workshops on a large scale during those festivals. Eminent enterprenures and Businessmen of the country are invited to these events.

The college distributes a merit scholarship for the top 5 students every year. Besides this the college also provides Financial aid for the students coming from poor families. Approximately Rs 10,000 are distributed among the deserving candidates each year.

The college maintains a pretty balanced gender ratio with 40 percent girl students in the college.International students of the college sum Upto 150 providing a good exposure to the local students. The college has a dedicated Debates and Seminars Committee that holds debates and seminars on current affairs every year.

Alumini Network of the college is pretty active in connection with the students of the college. Seniors are also ready to help and interact with the students whenever needed. I've had a lot of interactions with the allumini and college seniors through the Allumini association of this college. It was a great experience and very benefitting to interact with the great personalities of the state who once studied in the college.

The college has the most eminent faculty in the state. Very knowledgeable and always eager to help the students. Almost all the faculty members have got there PhD's and specialisations and are masters of their respective subjects.
