Things to know before taking admissions in CSE

I have applied for this course after completing my diploma in information technology. The eligibility for this course was 10+2 with a minimum of 50% and there was a scholarship offer for students securing more than 80% in both, 10th and diploma finals. Firstly I have to fill out the application form through ACPC, then after the mock round and choice filling round, they declare the final merit list in which the alloted seat will be shown to us. After that, we have to pay around 1/3rd of annual tuition fees as a token. I got 50% off scholarship for the first year by securing 80+% in both, the SSC and DIPLOMA FINALS. The token fees amount should be reduced in private colleges as some middle class can't afford to pay 25-30 thousand just in a week.

From my school time, I was very much interested in computers. So, after completing my 10th board I decided to choose a diploma in information technology. After completing the diploma, I opt for B.Tech in data science. There are very less students in this course, so interaction between students and teacher is quite good and the ratio is 20:1. The faculties use entertaining and creative ways to interact with students. Also, they are well-qualified with experience. They complete the syllabus on time. The college conducts 4 exams per year, 2 Internals and 2 externals. If we are interested in learning, the exams wouldn't be that difficult to pass.

From the sixth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. In CSE, tech companies like TCS, Infosys, Collabera, and many more visits college and provide attractive salary packages to students having skills. The highest package was around 11-12 Lac per annum and the average is at around 2.5 lac per annum. Around 90% of students that completed internships got placed. Also, we can apply for other companies according to our interest in work and skills known.

The annual course fees is 69,500 but they demand extra 60,500 for external courses which are not good enough. The scholarships are provided to bright needy students. Also we can pay fees in 3-4 installments. Also we can apply for another government scholarships. In last semester they provide internships and after that around 90% students got placed in companies with around 2.5 lac per annum package.

There are so many fests conducted in the university, related to tech and other skills. The library is also good enough to read everything about your curriculum and there are books to expand your knowledge in your field of interest. The classrooms are non-ac but the environment around is good enough peaceful and freshening to learn things easily. Sports like cricket, football, and basketball are played here mostly, also extracurricular activities like singing, dancing, writing competitions are also organized at campus. There are various clubs in CSE department, like developer club, entrepreneur club and more.
