LNCT BHOPAL College Review

For admission to the LNCT BHOPAL CSE branch, one must have scored a percentile of more than 85 in jee mains exam or he/she must have scored more than 80% marks in his/her 12th board exams. Admission to the LNCT campus is done through MPDTE councelling .students are allotted seats in respective colleges and braches on the basis of their rank. One has to apply for MPDTE councelling and fill in the desired choices. Reservation benefits are given to the students having HOME STATE Domicile. Scholarships must be given to other state students also on the basis of their scores in the entrance exams.

I pursued cse in lnct Bhopal because I had my interest in computers and coding and at the same time it has a good placement record in the case branch. There is a decent student-to-faculty ratio. The faculty is well qualified and very supportive. They have a good teaching method and they are ready to opt for modern and new methods of teaching. there are two mindsems and one end sem exams held per semester.

Internships are provided in which some are paid also. There are various roles in which students get a chance to work and get exposure to the working of industries. These internships are very important for your resume.

Students are eligible for campus placements after the 7th semester. companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Amazon, Infosys, V M Ware, Cognizant, etc visit the campus for placements. The highest package offered is around 19.6 lakh offered by VM Ware to six students while the average package is around 5.5 lakhs. About 90% of the students get placement in the campus itself.

The scholarship is given to the students who belong to HOME STATE Domicile. Students belonging to other state does not get any scholarship. Students with HOME STATE Domicile get a scholarship amount of around Rs.1.5 lakh under the Medhavi scheme. The fee structure for the CSE core branch is around 1.22 lakh per year.

The library is very good. Books are available in plenty. Most of the books and journals are available here. Students can order any specific book if it's not available at the moment, it's provided within one or two weeks. Classrooms are good with good seating capacity. The college is more focused on studies than on sports activities but still it participates in various sports competitions. Senior students run various tech and informatic clubs in which other students can take part which would be very beneficial for their resume.

The Hostel is very good. Boys are allotted hostels in the campus itself for one year only while girls are allotted hostels for four years. It has four hostel buildings, two for boys and two for girls. The room quality is very good, it's more like a three-star hotel. Each room has its attached washroom, a balcony of decent size. Three students are accommodated in each room. Mess food is between intermediate and good. One can't expect much from mess food. The hostel fee is around Rs.73000 per year.
