Students who want to Join Polytechnic or diploma in computer science should have passed the SSC examination with 35% aggregate and mathematics and science as subjects. If you fulfill the above criteria then apply for the AP POLYCET entrance exam the application fee would be around 400 Rs carry SSC original memo and caste certificate with you.you can apply yourself or at the nearest meeseva center. There is a reservation facility available for SC/ST who are holding original caste certificates. 1% reservation is given to general students0.5% reservation will be given to sports category students. No improvement is needed in the admission process.

Polytechnic is a course of 3 years with a total of 6 semesters as it is a diploma course fee is less than B.Tech.The fee at SCREC is 30000 Rs per year Including some extra fees like lab and library etc. If someone after completing their 10th wants to do B.Tech in the future I think polytechnic is the best choice instead of Intermediate. This course gives a lot of knowledge about computer science engineering. The faculty-student ratio at the college is 1:45. The faculty at SCREC uses a practical based methodology to teach for better understanding. There were 2 mid-term examinations every semester.

The fee at SCREC is 30000 Rs per year including some other fees like labs, library etc. You have to pay the fee half in 1st semester and a half in another. There is also a one-time enrollment fee of 5000 Rs which is collected for only once in the starting. There is a good opportunity of scholarships for minority and sc/st students they can apply for state government scholarship if fulfill the given criteria. You can apply for the scholarship on AP EPASS the application fee will be 250 Rs. If the application is successful full course fee is reimbursed directly to the college. There are no jobs on the campus.

The best thing about this college is its campus life. There are all sorts of fun you can have at the college apart from studying. The college has a very good infrastructure and is well equipped with everything. The classrooms are spacious and comfortable. The library is very big and has all the books and journals anytime. A lot of fests happen in the college but the year-ending fest is amazing which happens in March every year. There are three playgrounds in the college where sports activities and tournaments happen. The canteen is serving good food. There are no social groups in the college.
