Course Curriculum Overview
The course work in B.Tech mainly focuses on practical learning in various engineering specializations. Computer science provides fundamental knowledge about Modern Technology and its uses. I chose this course because I am deeply invested in computers and software Technology. The faculty at SCREC use project-based methodology which enables the teacher and the group to work together and understand concepts clearly. The faculty-student ratio at our college is 2:50. There were 2 mid-term exams every semester which are moderately hard to pass.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the course is 35000 Rs per year excluding some other fees like there is a one-time enrollment fee of 5000 Rs and library and lab fee. The Government provides a huge opportunity for students who can pay the fee via scholarship. You can check the eligibility criteria on the AP EPASS website and apply for the same. The scholarship is primarily for minority students only. There are also some national scholarships but they are hard to get. There are jobs on the campus you have to work outside the campus.
Campus Life
The college life at SCREC is amazing. The college is so good at learning new things there are a lot of things to do apart from good studies. Our college has 3 huge playgrounds for cricket, football, and volleyball. There is also a facility for Indoor games. The Library is very big and well maintained where you can get any type of book all the time. The classrooms are spacious and have good infrastructure. The labs are fully equipped with all the things needed for experiments. A lot of fests happen in the college every year so overall the college is very good and studying there is worth it.
