Good highlights was there was a peace in campus no ragging, no religious groups and even there was harmony among all the departments. Bad I think need to improve the teaching facility and the lecturers need to be more practical than theoretical as bookish knowledge is not enough in the modern competitive world. But at the end I love my college.

Seriously there was no entrance test the admission in BCA at govt. College daulatpur chowk (himachal pradesh) is done as first come first serve there are limited 40 seats in that course and first 30 seats are subsidiaries and rest of the ten are non subsidiaries.

Course structure was purely focused on the basic and than advanced languages which are used to write programs and than software for the computer. Now talking about the teaching faculty they were qualified and experienced but truly they was very theoratic and mainly concerned about the theory portion and very less on the practical knowledge.

There are companies which oftenly visit the college and test our skills and knowledge but seriously there are very few companies which provided real placements. So there is not a lot of scope of getting placed in reputed company.

There was a annual prize distribution function and it was big in which the whole college participate and there were a lot of cultural activitie mostly the chief guest was the MLA or MP of that area.

There were no loans or scholarships but as I said that the college was under government and the fees was very low even B.A(bachelor of arts) was totally free.

Campus life was very enjoying and thoughtful as we share a lot of ideas sitting beneath the mango trees which are in the front of the college. All girls and boys use to sit in groups and share there thoughts. Talking about the lab as I was a BCA student I can tell you about the computer lab which is fully Wi-Fi and we do are practical and a lot of experiment with our knowledge. Environment of my college was very peaceful there was no race or ragging as much time I spended there.

I just want to convey that our seniors were quite a helping hand for us they give us their true advice every time whether it is bad or negative about the college they never hesitates. we had regular interaction like after a month with are seniors and they told as do's and dont's. They also give us an idea about a particular teacher's nature. They also aware us for the future challenges we gone face after the course.
