Remarks

Admission through bcece in 2013. Now it comes under Jee Main score. In 2013 I got sc76 rank to get this college for civil engineering. You should apply to jee main and undergo through bcece online counseling to get to this college. GCE comes under the top 3 Bihar engineering colleges besides IIT and nit.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams on a strict schedule and not difficult to pass if you are a good student. I chose civil engineering because it is considered a good branch in Bihar. faculty: student ratio is good. exams are conducted timely semester wise and the session also runs on time.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are in the general category admission fees will be about 23k, for OBC 15k, for sc 9k. Seems wise you have to pay exam fees of about 1.5k per semester. you can get a scholarship from the Bihar govt. Placement facilities were not available when I passed but now it is available for all branches.

Campus Life

You will enjoy college life here because of the wide campus on the bank of falgu river. infrastructure is enough. annual function is the most memorable moment of college life here. books are available in the library in an adequate quantity. But you will feel shortage when you go to the last weeks of semester exams. you can participate in the annual sports program by choosing your favorite sport.

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like texas instruments,samsung, accenture,Amazon,keysight technologies,Deloitte.L&T, bosch,tech Mahindra and many more. Highest package for batch 2024-25 was 41LPA offered to cse student.avg package is of 10LPA. Percentage of students placed here is almost 85 percent. Look for a job after getting the degree.

there is not too much workload so you can work on yourself ,thats the best part of this college . there are new subjects introduced and they are revised so that we can prepare for real world problems . more competitive events should be introduced and they should be reviewed . exams are not that difficult but you have to study to pass. there is enough time to prepare . the exams are scheduled after 6 months . there is enough gap during exam also.

ROI of GCE Gaya is great

I have also applied for some other colleges but I didn't get it because I am not shortlisted in my dream desired college.
