Remarks

It was a wonderful experience as everyone says college Life is a golden Life i would recommend our college to all the girls in my city.

Entrance Preview

I had chosen B.Com i was interested in Commerce. I was very impressed because of the faculty and the importance given to Women's Education.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It was a 3 years course with semester system. I had chosen accounts as my specialization. Also there were other subjects like EVS, Computers, Tally. There were other activities like Mock Stock and other Commerce Activities.

Internships Opportunities

We were tied up with many companies, but I chose Aegis for my internship. The stipend was around 10K. We were given an opportunity to design our career.

Placement Experience

4

There were many companies which came in. I gave a try for all of them. The companies for which I gave a try was Greet Tech Solutions, HP and Aegis.

College Events

5

We were celebrating all the National Festivals. Christmas would be a great blast. We used to have College Fest once in a year. We always has inter and intra Collegiate competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was feasible as they considered women and Middle Class People the fees was 23, 000 for one year. There used to waive off of the students were from a poor economical background.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the top scored would be offered a cash prize every year. There was a girl who had scored 3rd rank in University Level, so the college had offered for free higher education. This was really encouraging others.

Campus Life

4

Awesome we had all kinds of activities, NCC camps, college excursions, sports day department wise activities, cultural completions. We used to celebrate Christmas with a blast.

Hostel Facilities

4

We dint have hostels there was a cafeteria where the food was tasty and hygienic we also had indoor game facilities.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, I am a part of the Alumni Club we meet our teaching staff, take opinions, have a regular interactions with the students we also participate in the events conducted by the college.

Exam Structure

We used to have Mid sem and End sem exams conducted by college. The semester exam would follow the end Sem which used to be conducted by Bangalore University.

Faculty

5

There are no words to speak about the faculty. We had awesome professors with many years of teaching experience. They were more than our books to us who always guided us in a right way. The non teaching faculty were also cooperative.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
