Remarks
The Eligibility for this course is, You must be a Science Student. Like BCA, BBA, or Any BSc Honours Course and the Important this is, There must be a Mathematics or Discrete Mathematics Subject in Your Bachelor Degree Course. In The Bachelor Degree Course, the Student must have at least a 45% mark for Further Study. To Study MCA at Roland Institute of Technology, Each and every student must appear OJEE Exam and on the basis of the OJEE rank students are selected.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose MCA, Because I have a lot of interest in Coding, Programming and in IT Sector. I've done some Computer Science Languages previously. The Faculties are very highly educated. Each and every faculty hold Doctor and Profesor Prefixes. The education system is Very Good at the Roland Institute of Technology. It's only a single college in Berhampur and its nearby area those who maintain the curriculum strictly. It's a Semester basis course, where MCA has 2 years and 4 semesters of the course period. But the exams held as per BPUT, Odisha.
Placement Experience
To be seated on Campus drive, Students must be in Final Semester. That is the 4th semester. And For some companies, students must be career first class. No more eligibilities are needed for a student to be seated for a campus drive. There are so many campuses are visited by our college Namely Tech Mahindra, Infosys, TCS, cognizant, Wipro, Concentrix, L&T, Swiggy, Maruti Suzuki, and many more. The highest package per company is between 6L to 8L PA. About 60% of students are getting placed per department. I'll go for a Job with Python Language.
Fees and Financial Aid
MCA has a fixed Course Fee that is 60000 per year. That means 1,20,000 for One Student for the whole MCA course. But there is some extra charge as mentioned below. Exam Registration Free: 1500 (Per Semester) Central of Excellence: 3500 (Per Semester) NPTEL Course Fee: 1000 (Per Elective Course) NB: there are 4 Semesters and 3 Elective Courses. As per that calculate the Fee. But, there is a Great Facility for Fee relaxation, Which is a Scholarship. Which is provided by the Government of Odisha. The Scholarship Money structure is Given Below. To, SC/ST: 75000 (Per Year) To, OBC/SCBC: 30000 (Per Year) To, General: 9000 (Per Year) But students will get scholarships if he/she would apply on their own.
Campus Life
There is No Annual Fest or Sports are conducted till two year due to Covid. But Library is Open for only Lunch Break Time for everyone. Almost every book is available in Library. Some Social Media Groups are Run by Students. Like on Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook. The Main Social Media handle is Instagram which is much popular among everyone.
